TSM Arabia, Titanium & Steel Manufacturing Company

Dammam, Saudi Arabia

March 2019 - March 2020

• Identified change orders for nozzle modifications to the 18TA003 Haradh Gas Compression Project, reclaiming $240, 000 USD in revenue back to the client.
• Oversaw additional scope of work with a “Platform and Ladder” structure for the 18TA-002 Ras Tanura Refinery Clean Fuel Project, reclaiming $88, 000 USD with revenue of 40% to budget.
• While managing the 18TA-002, 005, 006 project, combined purchase orders (PO’s) for three projects maximizing our buying power and negotiating additional discounts. Doing so enabled us to complete the project at 14% below the original budget projection.
• On project 18TA005 for the Wasit Gas Plant, convinced the client to utilize air freight to ship forging flanges from suppliers in Korea, reducing the project delivery schedule by 4 weeks. This returned the project to an on track delivery, which was recognized by the client.
• Increased payment collection by monitoring invoices issued and setting a weekly review of outstanding payments. Any payment that passed 30 days past due was escalated to Senior Management. This process improved payment collection by 7% in 2019, resulting in an additional $32 million USD in revenue collected.
• Participated in the definition and planning of project milestones up front by Identifying and outlining critical points in each stage of the project life cycle. Managed project milestone activities and deliverables across multi-divisional teams and departments by laying out a clear project timeline at the onset of the project, and by conducting daily stand-up meetings to review progress and quickly deal with roadblocks. Held regular weekly and monthly meetings with team and General Manager to provide status updates and request assistance with major impediments. These efforts served to improve overall project completion percentage and reduces slippage.
• Coordinated with suppliers and materials manufacturers to outline project specifications and requirements.
• Reduced project specification deviation by assigning a third-party Resident Inspector to monitor production quality, minimizing risk of associated with delays in material delivery. This reduced overhead cost and contributed to project cost savings.
