Finance management, with 6 employees under my responsibility.
* Lead the Project Financial and Accounting integration of the entities Schering
Plough, S.A. and Merck Sharp & Dohme, for the creation of the new entities and
Intervet and MSD, achieving an operation without disruption for Central
America and Dominican Republic, with the agreed time of 6 months.
* Headed the Corporate Project of Finance Simplification and optimization of
resources in the area of finance, managing to reduce expenses by 5% in the first
phase and 20% in the second.
* Headed the recovery of accounts receivable from the previous company,
through a strategic business plan, managing to recover 98% of these accounts.
* Reduced operation costs of promotion, communications and corporate travel,
through coordination with the purchasing department to manage price
agreements with preferred suppliers, thus saving 30%.
* Implemented the new structure of accounting and finance at the level of
operational systems and procedures, achieving better results in the continued
process flow.
* Headed the implementation of expense reporting system for subsidiaries in
Central America, comprehensively and in line with what could be a display of
compliance staff accountability and abnormalities in expenses.
* Prepared transfer price study for deliveries to the authorities
* Establish and update procedure manuals based on policy corporate, which kept
an efficient internal and external audits.
* Headed the implementation of Starfor financial system, which helped to get
information from the financial results in standard formats, and periodic updates
of sales and expenses, facilitating decision making.
