To lead the Marsh Advisory - Enterprise Risk Practice throughout the MENA Region. This role requires focus on both internal responsibilities (i.e. revamping service line and value proposition; leading business development and marketing efforts; maintaining and managing the practice P&L; directing a regional team of risk and resilience consultants; etc.) as well as client facing responsibilities (i.e. developing bespoke risk management frameworks and strategies; providing risk management training across senior leadership and 3 lines of defense; identifying, evaluating and prioritizing operational, strategic and emerging risks; reporting risk and resilience outputs to company Boards as well as Risk / Audit Committees; evaluating insurance coverage effectiveness, and developing mitigation strategies / internal controls, etc.) for private and public clients across multiple industries throughout MENA.
Built the organization's internal governance and programme delivery capabilities by developing policies, procedures and tools that enhanced programme delivery effectiveness, risk management, and overall control. Additionally, as part of this role, provided subject matter expertise and oversee the planning, execution and monitoring of corporate governance programmes for startups, SMEs and large enterprises. Finally, worked with regional and international funding organizations to acquire funding for, comprehensive programmes across the Gulf Region.
Responsible to build the organization's internal governance and programme delivery capabilities by developing policies, procedures and tools to be used by programme teams to enhance programme delivery effectiveness (considering time, quality and budget) - main area of focus of such programmes include corporate governance, business integrity and corporate accountability. Additionally, as part of this role, provide subject matter expertise to the programme team and oversee the planning, execution and monitoring of corporate governance programmes for startups, SMEs and large enterprises. Finally, to work with regional and international funding organizations to design, and acquire funding for, comprehensive programmes across the Gulf Region.
Built and lead the Group-wide Enterprise Risk Management program from the ground up. Introduced enhanced, proactive and robust risk management capabilities across the diverse local / international business activities across all subsidiaries (property development, entertainment, retail, hospitality, property / community management, and others). Furthermore, worked with risk owners / senior management and Audit Committee to facilitate the identification and management of strategic, operational, regulatory, project, and financial risks faced by the business.
Developed & lead the firms’ regional Enterprise Risk & Business Resilience service line. This entailed the acquisition, management, and delivery of risk management & business resilience advisory services across the Middle East region. In this capacity, had both internal responsibilities (i.e. development of proposals; definition of project execution strategies; establishment of engagement budgets / timelines; management of multi-disciplined teams of risk & resilience consultants; etc.) as well as client facing responsibilities (i.e. development of risk management frameworks; identification, prioritization and mitigation of operational and strategic risks; risk reporting; training; etc.)
Managed Enterprise Risk Services engagements for public and private sector clients in the Middle East. In this capacity, established engagement strategies/plans/timelines, defined engagement budgets, identified / managed risks and managed teams to ensure the accuracy & quality delivery of projects.

Lead and managed the regions integrated information risk management & information assurance program that enhances the organisation’s capabilities to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of key business process and information assets. In addition, develop Business Continuity and Enterprise Risk Management systems and align activities with quality, health, safety, security and IT service management initiatives through an Integrated Management System.
Developed, established and maintained an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and information assurance program within the Abu Dhabi operating centre, and aligned activities with business, strategic, and operational requirements within the organization. Additionally, acquired and maintained ISO27001 certification.
