Duties and responsibilities
•Report to chef de cuisine and sous chef
•Prepare reports, store orders and duty rosters
•Give training to subordinates regarding the new menu items and kitchen standards
•Assist the sous chef in composing new recipes and menus ideas
•Pass information regarding the operations, functions and banquet events to subordinates
•Check the quality of a la carte dishes and standards, always maintaining food safety
•Ensure work area is organized and as per the standards set by the executive chef.
•Assist in controlling food cost by reducing wastage and creating reports when needed
•Have a complete understanding of and adhere to the companys policy relating to fire hygiene and safety
Duties and responsibilities
Reporting to the Head Chef, responsible for the day to day preparation of dishes for the functions in the main kitchen and banquets. Responsible for the updating and filing of all temperature check records, and other kitchen checklists to maintain the hygiene requirements as per Dubai Food Control Authority.
