• Studying and understanding of tender documents (BOQ, Specifications, drawings)
• Preparing Request for clarifications to be sent to client for the missing, contradicting and other related tender issues.
• Preparation / supervision of RFQ’s and float to market to receive quotations.
• Follow up with Suppliers on Technical related matters pre / post receipt of their offers.
• Negotiating the financial aspect of the received offers from vendors /suppliers (seeking discount)
• Follow up with Supplier to expedite receipt of their offers.
• Outsourcing suppliers for special MEP packages.
• Receiving and evaluating suppliers and subcontractors Techno-Commercial offers and ensure they are in strict incompliance with the tender requirements / specification.
• Coordinating and communicating with Estimators and QS’s to ensure completeness of the received offers.
• Liaise with vendors for the required Technical deliverables to be submitted along with the Tender to the client.
• Supervising and coordinating all the activities and operations related to the submission of the tender bid.
• Responsible for communicating the progress of proposals to management.
• Responsible for analyzing project requirements, selection of suitable products in coordination with Engineering, Design, and Marketing departments.
• Preparing bids and negotiating with sub- vendors and contractors.
• Studying of project specifications and requirements and generating engineering documents accordingly.
• Preparation of BOQ’s and floating RFQ’s to vendors.
• Techno - Commercial review of Vendor offers and Bid comparison.
• Preparation and Submission of complete proposals to client
• Studying tender drawings and specifications
• Carrying Quantity take off from BOQ and tender drawings
• Preparing RFQ's and forwarding to various suppliers
• Producing the technical and financial comparison sheets for all materials
• Attended tender meetings and site visits as required
Development/Presentation of Successful Projects -Kinematics and Dynamics of Linkages: Design of a variable shapes glass cutting machine using a four bar linkage mechanism. -Refrigeration and Air Conditioning: Design of an air conditioning system for an apartment in Beirut-Lebanon. -Finite Element Methods: Design of an air-craft wing with a complete analysis for the stresses it encounters. -Thermo-Fluids: Design of a home heat exchanger of a piping system along with a pump operating at optimum conditions. -CAD/CAM: Design and simulation of a military tank along with its kinematics on CATIA V5R18 software. -Final Year Project: Research on Aerodynamic Drag Reduction by Vortex Generators.
