Chief Financial Officer of the American University of Beirut Medical Center and Faculty of Medicine. AUBMC is a 365-bed hospital with over 300, 000 outpatient visits and over 15, 000 surgeries. Oversea the AUBMC Budget & Planning and Costing unit, which produces the annual capital and operational budgets and quarterly forecasts in addition to reviewing hospital costs to assist in updating pricing. The Comptroller’s office handles all the revenue entries and cashiering functions of the hospital. The Accounts Receivables department follows up on all the hospital and physician receivables and ensures collections are within acceptable time periods. The Patient Access unit oversees all the hospital admissions and follows-up on ensuring patients are paying their estimated bills during their stay. The Billing Department provides all the daily billing and patient stay estimates in addition ensure all charges are captured during the patients stay. Oversee the financial aspects of the Medical Practice Plan related to physicians and physician group practices.

Asssited the Chief Financial Officer in running the financial operation of the American University of Beirut Medical Center and American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine including Account Receivables, Billing and Budget & planning. Main units incharge off are Budgeting & planning and cost accounting units.

Oversaw the financial operation of the American University of Beirut Medical Center and American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine including Account Receivables, Billing and Budget & planning units.

In charge of applying cost account system and restructuring the entire pricing structure of hospital. Works with departments to develop feasibility studies as well as introducing new charge codes and determining their cost and price. Provides financial information to administration about costs for the different departmental, financial classes, physician and patient costs.

Responsible for the preparation of the hospital annual Operational & Capital budget and the preparation of quarterly forecasts. In-charge of the monthly financial and statistical report. Aid departments and provide them with monthly financial data and reports.

Had training in the following Departments

· Dealing Room, Foreign exchange
· Letter of credit department
· Daily Banking process

I was responsible for the liquidation of present store inventory and payment of all payables back to suppliers. I also conducted the accounting for the store and searched for new possible business opportunities.
