Project 1: ASTROSAT (ASTRONOMICAL SATELLITE) OBC PACKEGE TESTING

• Testing Tools: Logic analyser, Digital Oscilloscope, Sensor Stimuli (FEP)
Description: OBC is a real time system, embedded in spacecraft. Attitude and orbit control, Telecommand, Telemetry, sensor electronics, thermal management etc., Stand-alone electronic systems are integrated into a single unified system to realize the enhanced functional requirements of the spacecraft. The various elements of the spacecraft bus that realize the functions are integrated into a single Spacecraft On Board Computer (OBC) which uses standard interfaces such as MIL-STD-1553B with rest of the spacecraft. OBC is based on Mil-Std 1750 MA31750 processor with ACTEL 1280 RH FPGA to provide processor-memory and EDAC (Error Detection & Correction) interfaces. The CPU has its program stored in PROMs. RAM is used for intermediate data storage and remote programming.
Project 2: IRNSS (India Regional Navigation Satellite) AOCE PACKEGE TESTING
