IFS I work on resolving on any production oriented issues
with trades flow in the front end applications.
* The day-to-day work requires thorough vigilance and timely resolutions so that the trading is not
affected at any given point.
* The products we support vary as per the PB/Client we are serving for ex: Equities, Fixed income,
Futures & Options and Alternative investments.
* We work on applications like TMAN Console, Mercer, GMI, Omgeo, Client maintenance and Web
exports.
* We work on automation of trade reports for clients across and also format the same as per the
client needs and ensure that the trade flow happens in the correct direction and picks up all the
latest amends or cancellations.

Fund Administration
Attainments as Team Leader:
* Have been first point of contact for all escalations and effectively handled team in absence of senior
management and have been appreciated by the senior level management on the same.
* Ensure that the team is working efficiently on their tasks by advising them to request timely
information/guidance by following effective escalation model.
* Highlight the trades/products which are having any issues, and proactively raise an alarm to the
management through Daily BM’s, which would help the team in concentrating on trades which
requires immediate attention/follow up.
* Assist the team with issues, and problem solving solutions, email drafting which avoid any late
settlements or timely escalation to the management.
* Knowledge sharing on any new updates or process changes with the team, management and
onboard and update the SOP’s.
* Application and Interpretation of Key Performance Indicators(KPI’s), Key Risk Indicators(KRI’s) and
Standard operating procedures(SOP’s).
* Resolving the issues by referring to the agreed templates, Master Confirmation Agreements and
Product disclosure statements (PDS).
* We also initiate to negotiate the templates for various products and execute the Master
Confirmation Agreements (MCA) with the counterparty, so that we need not review long form
confirmations (Economics).

To work on outstanding trades within the specified time limit and have covered 14 European
markets for pre-matching.
* To ensure that the checking of incoming & outgoing docs are done with utmost care for both
economic and non economic issues which are high risk to the bank sent by the team members.
* Escalated the discrepancies to Front Office/Middle Office/Counterparty and make sure the issue is
resolved on time.
* Follow the Escalation Matrix promptly in cases of issues.
* To ensure productivity and quality are in line with SLA and strive to improve on the same.
* To have lock in calls with counterparties to discuss the issues and hence reduce the outstanding
issues on trades & settlements.
* Liaise with Traders, Middle Offices and desks on issues related to trades like economic
discrepancies.
* Ensure all the trades are in place on the value date which is a high risk to the bank or escalate to
the traders or desk or clients who could help in deciding who should be making necessary
amendments to have it matched.

Management, and act as backup for other team members in times of contingencies
* Think out of the box for process improvements on a continuous basis, so there is straight
Through process due to automation, reduction in manual efforts & without compromising on internal
controls.
* Actively negotiate with external counterparties to resolve documentation disputes within the limits
and checks implemented due to high sensitivity of data between the parties; liaise with the
Business, Market Initiative and Legal teams.
* Making use of Bloomberg, Reuters, Google etc sites in resolving the economic issues
* Reviewing the Counterparty templates against the Standard operating procedures.
* Circulate inventory or creation report to the trading desk at London and Asia by highlighting the
ISIN’s which are short and requesting to place a create request with our custodian Bank State
Street so that we will not fail to clients on VD
