• Responsible for all aspects related to project quality assurance and quality control.
• Reviews the project-specific quality plan, inspection, and test plans, check-sheets, method statements and related procedures.
• Implementation of the Quality Management & Control program for the project.
• Controlling all inspection activities on site. Ensuring that inspection requests are implemented.
• Completion of the necessary documentation to verify the work performed and full control of QA/QC documentation works.
• Ensuring that all test reports are verified to meet the contract requirements.
• To ensure all materials delivered to the site are inspected and conform to specified requirements.
• Issue and administer “Non-Conformance Reports”, handling of customer complaints, field instructions and ensure follow up.
• Report to the Project Manager any deficiencies in the operation of Quality Management Control System.
• Completion of final quality documentation in a presentable manner, in accordance with the condition of the contract.
• Coordination for internal and external clients’ audits & Coordinate with client personnel for inspection of activities
• Ensure the implementation of the planned training programme and suggestions for training requirements for the project. Conduct project-based training as per requirements.
• Arranging material inspection on and off site without affecting the work process.
• Witnessing of trial mix for concrete, grout and testing in the presence of Owner.
• To review the relevant documents prior to start of construction e.g. IFC, project specification etc.
• Reviewing of all Contractors quality and testing, submissions for contract compliance.
• Carrying out surveillance activities on Contractor’s construction activities to ensure compliance with approved methods/materials.
• Issuing regular guidance and information to quality department and engineering staff to ensure key issues are effectively managed.
• Vigilant for upcoming scheduled activities in advance to coordinate with 3rd parties in advance for the activities require testing e.g. FDT, Concreting, and Asphalting etc.
• Verify coordinates and levels in the drawing with site.
• Continuous training within the team for more efficiency and productivity.
• Co-ordinate with surveyor to finalize the bench mark survey setting out prior to start of construction
• Maintained the punch list and inspected the close out of the project in accordance to the same.
• Involve in the preparation of final dossier and hand over
