IT Desktop Administrator- Responsible for providing remote /hands on IT support to our various offices within the EMEA region.

• Supporting 1200 user base and Logging calls via Landesk IT service management tool and escalating calls where necessary
• Asset management/Cost saving- Leasing/buying equipment, iPhones and software licenses for EMEA region
• In depth use of Active directory and exchange 2010 - processing leavers/starts and creating mailbox/distribution lists/Security groups
• Imaging machines via SCCM and stand-alone machines
• Creating and deploying Software packages via SCCM
• Providing support via Dameware/team viewer and in person
• Travelling abroad (Norway, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Dubai) and around the UK (London, Aberdeen) to provide hands on support
• Supporting dell hardware infrastructure including Latitude, OptiPlex, Precision workstations and PowerEdge servers
• In-depth support of Konica Minolta and Xerox Printers
• Setting up File sync (Folder redirection) to save user data onto file print server for EMEA
• Providing basic network support/troubleshooting
• Providing overall windows 7, Lync 2010 and iPhone support
• Experience using and Troubleshooting cisco/Avaya telephony system
• Providing out of hours (On call) support
• Part of projects which included the rollout of iPhone onto new Meraki platform and setting up folder re direction for sites within the EMEA Region. Also involved in upgrading global service desk software from HelpSTAR to LANDesk (cloud based service desk). As well as this part of Symantec endpoint encryption rollout for all laptops within the corporation.
• Part of project to mitigating exposure to contractual underspend (iPhones) and consolidate all UK requirements into one new contract. As well as this replacing current end of life iPhone handsets with latest handsets for UK entity (around 250 iPhones).

• Providing end user training while Involved in the exit transition of a contract As well as this I have been involved with the exit transition of a contract where I had to provide training, check/advise on procedures which involved me travelling to sites within UK and abroad.
