Analyzes hazardous conditions and assigns risk assessment codes.
Evaluates hazardous conditions and recommends engineering controls, administrative controls, and/or personal protective equipment.
Maintains complete and accurate HSE records as required.
Responsible for and administers, the annual fire extinguisher maintenance program.
Review and analyze accidents, near miss incidents, and making corrective action recommendations & ensure proper adequate/ corrective actions implemented to prevent re-occurrence.
Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements;
Responsible for preparing written weekly and monthly HSSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSSE performance
Implementation of company’s HSE policy, Rules and Regulations
Ensures ISO-14001 and OSHAS 18001 standards compliance
Carrying out Task Risk Assessments
Conducting HSE Audits & Trainings
Maintaining ATR’s
To achieve Zero LTI target and DAFWC
Investigate Incidents / Root cause analysis
HSE data processing, report writing and maintain Records
Maintaining a good coordination and communication within supporting teams in all HSE related matters.
• To work as an active member of Safety Committee
• To implement Company’s HSE policies, procedures and its Rules & regulations.
• To communicate appropriate HSE Information to the work force on right time.
• To identify, evaluate and anticipate hazardous condition in order to take its control measures.
• To keep records of accident, incident and near miss, also its investigation & analysis report in order to prevent its reoccurrence.
• To ensure high level of awareness for evacuation procedures.
• Organize and monitor the reconditioning, installation and maintenance of fire-fighting equipment.
• Leads daily/monthly inspections and participate in audits and assessments as necessary. Responsible for closing all findings
• To co-ordinate with the client HSE Team in order to improve the Health, Safety and Environment
• To look after overall activities related to HSE in co-ordination with the HSE Team
• Ensure Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures for compliance.
• Ensures that required PPE is in stock and issued to employees prior to work.
• Ensure the awareness and implementation of Golden Rules of UEP.
• Conducts or arranges HSE training and HSE induction for new employees, visitors and contractors.
• Conducts inspection & audit on third party contractors and company assets.
• Participates in incidents investigation as they occur, and lead as appropriate
• Liaises with local officials on health matters.
• Provides Health, Safety and Environmental expertise and advice for all project workers as required.
• Coordinate Emergency Response Activities.
• Assist in Issuance/Management of work permits (PTW Policy).
• Potential Incident(PI) Reporting & Unsafe act(UA), Unsafe Condition(UC)
• Implement and coordinate mine safety programs, including the design and maintenance of protective and rescue equipment and safety devices.
• Test air to detect toxic gases and recommend measures to remove them.
• Prepare schedules, reports, & estimates the costs involved in developing & operating mines.
• Prepare technical reports for use by mining, engineering, and management personnel.
• Conduct safety awareness trainings & programs for the mine workers.
• Conduct Inspection of mines & equipments to prevent any accident/Incident.
• Ensure the availability of welfare facilities for the mine workers i.e. water, sanitation etc.
• Design, implement & monitor the development of mines, facilities, systems & equipments.
