Roads & Infrastructure in South of Al-Meshaf Package 03 (QS049-P03)
Responsibilities:
Report and accountable for all the activities of the electrical and dry utilities works. Conduct regular site visits and supervise completion of all construction activities ensuring compliance with the shop drawings.
• Inspection of Electrical and instrumentation works for ground Water/Storm Water Pump Station and 2 Nos of 11KV substation.
• Liaison with respective authority on weekly basis for review and update of handover over tracking records and as-builts status.
• Assisting Immediate Manager in Pre-qualification submittal and supplier management for material and installation, testing and commissioning of pump station.
• Testing and commissioning of pump station and its related equipment such as but not limited to MCC panel, Bus Ducts, Capacitor bank, UPS, HVAC, EOT crane (10T), Travelling Grab screen, ultrasonic sensors and PLC control Panels for SCADA.
• QS049 Roads and Infra Project on going works related to Street Light, MV & LV cable installation and Relocation, ITS and Telecom Duct installation.
• Responsible for preparing and revising method statements, ITP, RFI etc.
Design and build of Qatar LusailCP07B Project consisting construction of LRT Station, Tunnel Road, landscaping and multi-story car park. Electrical design for the program included EHV, HV & MV substations & cables work, underground dry and wet utilities, smart city solutions, landscape, street and tunnels lightings, underground car parks services monitoring and control systems.
Responsibilities:
Installation supervision of light fixtures, junction boxes, cable tray/ladder, UPS installation and lighting accessories. TEL, ELV, MOI, ITS, SSD, HV Duct Installation.
• Performing voltage drop, Lux Level calculations and Dimming Control System for street lighting, Tunnel Lighting.
• Supervise the Installation of Conduits, Cable Tray & Trunking installation, Electrical Panels & DB installation, MIMIC Panel Installation, Telephone, Data, LAN, CCTV Installation, Fire Alarm System, FM200 (Fire Fighting system) installation, Door Access control System, Motion Lighting System, BMS and car parking management system.
• Estimation of material from drawings and site requirements.
• Review the Drawings and material submittals for submission to consultant approval.
• Arrange the inspection for material inspection and Site Installation.
• Attending internal meetings with the department head to discuss the Technical and progress related issues.
• Testing and commissioning of tunnel lighting, CCTV, substation, fire alarm, FM2O0 and HVAC networks.

Responsibilities:
• Manage, review and execute the work at Site as per design and specifications.
• Preparation plans for the Proper Execution of the work on time.
• Highlight the discrepancies in the contract drawings / specification
• Prepare Redline drawings / Installation drawings and Material Submittals based on Contract drawings and Contract Specifications.
• Coordinating with client for shop drawing approval, material submittal approval, Work Progress.
• Cable tray, Cable Ladder, route and size adjustments as per site and cables requirements.
• Installation of MDB, SMDB, FDB, and cable terminations.
• LV Cables Laying, Termination, Testing (Insulation Resistance test, Continuity Test).
• Installation, testing and commissioning of CCTV, and data communication system.
• Worked as a volunteer trainee engineer assisting the RE in below activities.
• Load & VD calculation, Lux Calculations for Street Lights & Building Lights.
• 66KV/11KV/LV/ELV Cable laying, Cable testing and backfilling.
• Testing and commissioning of the installed Electrical related Systems.
Street Lights poles (10m, 12m, 14m, 16m and 25m), street light luminaire (CMH, LED), Landscape Lighting, cut-outs, cable laying, cable terminations.
• Inspection for street light Earthing installations, Feeder Pillars and Metering cabinet installation.
• Maintain Inspection Records as per the approved Quality Control Procedure.
• Ensure that the relevant records are effectively and adequately used and signed of the following site inspection activity.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship installed operated and maintained otherwise issue NCR or CAR on poor workman ship.
Reviewing of Shop Drawings, RMD, As Built, Material Submittal.
