Main responsibilities:
♦ Manage the preparation of the financial statements and forecasts for the management and board. In addition, manage the Group’s financial statements consolidation activity and coordinate the Group’s reporting activities among divisions, departments and branch offices.
♦ Establish and maintain the Company’s relationships with banks, and managed the credit and other banking facilities required by the Company. In addition, identify and manage the working capital requirements.
♦ Involved in the selection process of the Group’s external auditors, and facilitate proper coordination between the Group’s entities for the audit process.
♦ Responsible for the overall accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. In addition, analyse the reports generated by the Finance Manager on a periodic basis against budgets, in order to implement precautionary and correction measures as needed.
♦ Maintaining and refining the group consolidation and statutory reporting function
♦ Effective supervision of the group accounting function

Key duties and responsibilities:
General:
Market and share analysis.
Cost analysis.
Provide financial support (including financial support of business plan and cost control) for the targeted advertising proposition.
Work closely with the strategic planning team to model and appraise any material decisions effecting advertising revenue generation.
Maintain controls environment for Media revenue reporting and billing.
Financial Planning:
Develop and review of the business plan, annual budget and quarterly forecasts both Financial and Key performance indicators including preparation of appropriate presentation materials for the Media MD and the COO.
Analysis and identification of risks and opportunities.
Ensure costs are controlled and are within budget - including headcount and T&E for c300 staff.
Ensure working capital is maximized through efficient cash collection and debt management and optimum payment terms.
Reporting:
Analysis of monthly results against budget/forecast/prior year to the business and reporting of variances to the Business.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparation of monthly operational reports.
To comply with laid down treasury policy and procedures, statutory, legal and regulatory requirements.
-Prepare foreign exchange hedging and cash management strategies to minimize risk and understand how changes to
business units impact on treasury risk (liquidity, counterparty, operational) management positions e.g. acquisition strategy,
entering new markets.
-Review, monitor and report accurately (daily; monthly; quarterly) on key treasury activities focusing on treasury risk
management issues (foreign exchange, daily cash & liquidity and counterparty reporting) according to specified deadlines.
X Responsible for planning of audit and other related assignments, including close liaison with clients top management
X Assessing business and audit risks, coordination with professionals of various fields, like legal, actuarial and IT experts to take decisions regarding resolution of critical reportable matters
