Main responsibilities:

♦ Manage the preparation of the financial statements and forecasts for the management and board. In addition, manage the Group’s financial statements consolidation activity and coordinate the Group’s reporting activities among divisions, departments and branch offices.
♦ Establish and maintain the Company’s relationships with banks, and managed the credit and other banking facilities required by the Company. In addition, identify and manage the working capital requirements.
♦ Involved in the selection process of the Group’s external auditors, and facilitate proper coordination between the Group’s entities for the audit process.
♦ Responsible for the overall accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. In addition, analyse the reports generated by the Finance Manager on a periodic basis against budgets, in order to implement precautionary and correction measures as needed.

♦Evaluation of new business opportunities, proposals and due diligence

♦Successfully managed BMMI’s investment portfolio (BD 25m worth of Investments)
♦Successfully delivered a comprehensive Performance Management solution that combines the effective use of BPM and Six Sigma to enhance the speed and agility of BMMI’s operation and to improve the company’s bottom line.
♦ Established internal accounting policies and standards to insure consistent accounting and internal controls across reporting facilities.
♦ Reduced month end closing time by 50%, by taking control of the Oracle Accounting modules closing from IT

General:
