•Meet the monthly closing deadline - the 5th of each month.
•Assist in finalizing the financial statements and accounts.
•Control the prepaid expenses and prepare the related reports for audit needs.
•Checking the expense accounts and prepare month-to-month variance report.
•Preparing the Actual VS Budget reports.
•Validate the supplier reconciliation on monthly basis.
•Prepare the needed reports for: audit needs, outsourcing, cost analysis.
•Ensure external statutory audits and other regulatory filings are complied with as per regulatory requirements.
•Provides all necessary data and answers any inquires received from the internal and external auditors.
•Assists in formulation of work measures to maximize efficiency and cost savings.
•Monitoring of finance and accounting activities on a day-to-day basis to ensure adherence to the policies and procedures of the company.
Apply principles of accounting to provide financial information by researching and processing data; prepares financial reports by compiling information, ensures appropriate control procedures.
Check investments, online banking, and transactions of the investment companies.
Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of financial records.
Check the investments, transactions, and online banking for the Investments Companies and handle payments.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts.
Execute booking and data entry of transactions
Prepare monthly cash forecast by checking all approved invoices and making necessary follow up on non-approved ones.
Closes the month-end as well as year-end accounts with all necessary adjusting entries and reconciliations.
Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
Secures discretion and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Assist in preparing Financial Statements.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliation.
Reconciliate the sales reports of the shows outside Lebanon with the financial data on the accounting system and prepare comparative analysis for the shows.
Prepare the commissions of the of the agents.
Prepare the commissions of the sales team and project managers.
Assist external auditors by conducting end of year reconciliation of all accounts and preparing the required files for the audit process.
Maintain the filing of the accounting documents.

Your responsibilities will include:-
Overview of financial accounting policies and financial management.
Development of strong and accurate financial planning and analytical tools across finance to assist the business strategy and the provision of MIS to the business and operational leadership.
Treasury management and an overview of investment strategies linked to surplus cash and liquidity across the Group of companies.
Establishment of banking relationships to manage any investment and funding requirements linked to OPEX and CAPEX
Development of organisational structure and succession planning objectives across the group finance function.
The successful candidate should be a seasoned finance professional with a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CPA). You should be able to demonstrate a solid track record within financial management, corporate finance and planning combined with an ability to set financial strategies.
You should also have an understanding and/or a cultural link to the Middle East to develop relationships from both an internal and external prospective. It is essential you have an understanding of international and “blue-chip” exposure to ensure the introduction of best practice and governance.
Due to the nature of our client’s sector coverage and diversity, it is crucial you have exposure to either a Group structure of companies or areas of investment related operations. The nature of the market within northern Iraq also demands the presence of a native Arabic speaker.

•Prepare the travel expenses and make the needed reservations for the division employees.
