Steer and direct bakery manufacturing operations that generate SR300M in annual revenue. Establish operation policies and implement process improvement to ensure superior quality and outstanding output of bakery products. Directly manage 3 Production Managers overseeing 13 Team Leaders and 400 direct labors. Design and implement coaching and training programs to develop staff, facilitate efficiency, and improve performance. Maintain and define safety standard ensuring safety system of work and practices are adhered all times and defective equipment are repaired or replaced. Ensure adherence to strict quality control procedure. Initiate and control manpower and overhead budgets. Implement 5S principals throughout manufacturing areas.
Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations. Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards. Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions. Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff. Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime. Commit to plant safety procedures. Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets. Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements. Influence and learn from below. Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concept.
Maintaining good hygiene and housekeeping within the department.
Liaise with QA management to develop and updating of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that quality problems are minimized.
Ensuring that the cleaning of all process lines and equipments is carried out according to defined procedures and schedules.
Ensuring Team Managers and Team Leaders manage the needs of the department.
Conducting a daily meeting with section Team Managers and Team Leaders to discuss the previous 24hrs performance.
Organize and control multinational stuff to ensure that all products are produced as per defined schedules and parameters by coordinating with quality, finance and logistic departments.
Directing, monitoring and coordinating sectional process, evaluation and plans, to guarantee standard running conditions and process productivity in accordance to daily production plans and schedule.
Implements quality assurance program in accordance with the established policies, procedures, standard & specifications.
Coordinate with outbound logistics department to ensure that proper production schedule is made to satisfy internal customer needs.
Managing the Preventive Maintenance schedule of production lines so that unplanned breakdowns are controlled.
Maintain and define safety standard ensuring safety system of work and practices are adhered all times and defective equipments are repaired or replaced.
Reviewing the risk assessments so that the operations are done in a safe manner.
Ensure the development of staff, assessing performance and determining training needs.
Liaise with training department to ensure that training needs are met and that required facilities are provided.
Conduct disciplinary / counseling procedures as required.
Research, analyze and implement methods of improving line efficiencies. Monitor and take corrective actions to minimize downtime and wastage
- Directing, monitoring and coordinating sectional process, evaluation and plans, to guarantee standard running conditions and process productivity in accordance to daily / monthly production plans and schedule.
- Implements quality assurance program in accordance with the established policies, procedures, standard & specifications.
- Enforcing obedience to safety regulations, reviewing safety manual. Conducting weekly safety inspection and monthly safety audit for all Feeder 1 sections. Ensuring operational readiness of all safety and emergency in the company.
- Liaising with industrial consultants to effect modifications in the layout of production area to optimize the production process of products.
- Leads work group towards achievement of its assigned task in relation to corporate objectives.
- Appraise performance of sub-ordinates strengths and weaknesses, as well as their training and development needs.
- Submitting weekly data of performance parameters to the upper management, along with proposals to eliminate bottlenecks in production operation.
- Coordinates work progress with other concerned functions (i.e. Materials. Quality control, Engineering, Maintenance, etc…).
- Conducting weekly and monthly preventive maintenance check and follow up of production equipment and machines, to avoid unscheduled production stoppages.
- Maintain constant and adequate supply of materials and equipments necessary to carry out the plans without excessive investment in inventory.
- Appling of Achieving Competitive Excellent (ACE) program.
