• Assist with the management of IOM’s migration health clinics in Bosasso This includes, but not limited to, provision of healthcare services to the returnees such as health screening, treatment and referrals as well as fitness for travel examinations;
• Assist the Health Program management and Coordination making sure that the service delivery meets the IOM standards and that the treatment guidelines are strictly followed;
• Assist in keeping track of medical supplies and drugs and in ensuring and verifying timely replenishment to avoid stock outs;
• Orientate and facilitate capacity building training for healthcare providers from the Ministry of Health who are on- call at the Health facilities;
• Participate ongoing drought response interventions - cluster meetings, Mobile Emergency teams and IOM supported Health facilities.
• Monitor the performance of Ministry of Health seconded and partner staff and ensure timely submission of their monthly attendance sheets;
• Develop Training Concept Notes, Prepare activity Budget plans and request funds from Nairobi operational office.
• Closely work with HR and Finance Unit for processing of staff incentives, Medical and other Health equipment procurement and financial liquidations.
• Report the key epidemiological data every week in a timely manner;
• Collate, analyses and generate relevant data and submit reports as required;
• Generate IOM field - Barri Regional Health Activity reports - progress achieved against planned outputs and outcomes and share with MHD/PRD program coordinator.
• Represent IOM in health, Nutrition, protection and other humanitarian related meetings at Bari Region.
• Represent IOM in health and PRD (Preparedness and Response Division) related coordination meetings in Berbera;
• Support to program development and planning and Identify project development opportunities on the ground - evidence-based planning for the next phases;
• Undertake duty travel when required;
• Conduct additional tasks that may be assigned by the Health Programme Coordinator; and
• Performs such other duties as may be assigned by Head, PRD and MHD.

• Quarterly supervision for routine EPI proving Health facilities in Puntland and prepare supervision reports.
• Supervise NID (National Immunizations Days), SNID (Sub-national Immunization Days), measles catch up campaigns and prepare monitoring and supervision reports, these report are aggregated to be part of the zonal reports and finally shared to WHO/UNICEF country office.
• Assist zonal cold chain manager for vaccine requirement estimations and forecasting, vaccine ordering, facilitate vaccine arrival by preparing tax exception papers and ensure vaccine quality, quantity from zonal to health center up to the client to avoid stock outs.
• Assist program Data compilation and aggregations at zonal level coming from six Regional HMIS officers of Puntland state, flow up of data actions and feed forward.
• Training of EPI MCH centers staff including vaccinators, social mobilizers, community health workers and Health facility in charge, prepare training Materials, presentations, assign facilitators, oversee training sessions and prepare training reports including challenges and way fords.
• Facilitate EPI coordination meetings like EPI working group meetings inviting EPI/EPHS partners including UN agencies, INGOs, LNGOs and other PCA Partners meeting Pre and post campaign meetings, data quality checking meetings, quarterly, semi-annual and annual review meetings.
