I am working with a Chinese company since November 2022 as a
Quality Engineer and my main responsibilities are:
Supervision of Drilling & blasting, a conventional excavation method, is employed to control and improve work quality
Supervising rock bolts, including fully cement grouted, self-drilling, expansion shell, and spilling bolts, are utilized alongside pull-out tests of rock bolts, bar, and strand anchors for quality assurance.
Supervision of Shotcrete, whether steel fiber reinforced or plain with welded fabric wire mesh, undergo bond and thickness testing to ensure quality standards.
Managing tunnel invert concreting and shotcrete panel casting to uphold quality standards.
Regular monitoring of material quality checks at batching plants, including aggregate size, slump, cement ratio, and steel fibers.
Supervision of installation of canopy tubes and ensuring that they are installed as per specifications for structural integrity.
NESPAK is considered as one of the best consultancy in Pakistan. I spent
6 weeks as an intern on a piling project and my main responsibilities
were to carry out routine engineering calculations either by hand or
using structural softwares, perform field investigations and construction
observation and also assisted in preparation of design, construction
documents, and solutions to general and engineering problems. In
NESPAK I got proficiency in software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000) and
knowledge of structural analysis and design principles, familiarity with
building codes and regulations, etc
I have a total CGPA of 3.35 and i got 4 GPA in one semester. I also lead my final year project group and I've also lead my survey camp group and got the best survey award
