- Collaborate with the coordination of the project and do Brainstorming to facilities the teamwork and for a better collaboration with the Governmental Hospitals
- Supervision on the field to achieve the targeted quality of care
- Responsible for the Capacity Building of the ICU team members by providing Trainings, support, education, and experience
- Reporting (non-conforming errors, issues, planning, and considerations) in the field
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop a clear nursing diagnosis of the medical and emotional state of beneficiaries
- Collaborate with the mental health team on the development and implementation of beneficiaries’ care plan Administer medications, including psychotropics, to beneficiaries and monitor side-effects
- Follow-up with the Psychiatrist in the case of adverse effects of psychotropic medications
- Ensure that all measures related to psychotropic medications are handled properly (availability of medication needed, dispensing, and reporting)
- Identify and report on gaps related to the management of psychotropic medications to the health officer/mental health officer
- Provide beneficiaries and their families with information and education on their mental health illness and recovery plan
- Provide appropriate psychosocial support to beneficiaries as per the mhGAP
- Make appropriate referrals to medical services when needed
- Intervene and de-escalate mental health emergencies and suicide crises
- Provide awareness sessions on several topics, such as, but not limited to, non-communicable diseases, IYCF, and waterborne diseases and hygiene
- Support the PHC with data entry
- Monitor the implementation of the project activities at the supported PHC and report problems, challenges and issues to the Health Officer/Mental Health Officer
- Hold a monthly meeting with the Health Officer/Mental Health Officer to follow up on the beneficiaries’ status
- Ensure timely reporting of the activities to the Health Officer/Mental Health Officer
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
- Knowledge of/willingness to build capacity and knowledge in mental health in complex emergencies is a plus (IASC guidelines, Psychological Fird Aid, mhGAP...)
- Directed nursing service activities for assigned intensive care unit patients
- Delegated responsibilities to auxiliary and intensive care unit staff nurses
- Supervised preparation and maintenance of intensive care unit patient clinical records
- Managed inventory of solutions, supplies, medicines, narcotics, and equipment according to hospital policies, procedures and regulations
- Evaluated intensive care unit staff performance and quality of service Coached and developed nursing staff
