Distribution (MV/LV) cable trench inspection, cable laying inspection, Distribution Substation inspection, Site Survey/PTW inspection, attending Customer complaints.

Routine checking and inspection of 400kv, 220KV, 132KV, 66KV, 11KV Substations, Switching Operation, Monthly energy meter reading of power Stations and bulk consumers . Take monthly voltage and Tap position of all substations . Following instruction of NCC, DGCC, DCC . Note all complaints of substation and send mail to related department . Keep daily attendance of SSA ‘s

• Monitoring the various events of the substation in SCADA system
• Daily checking in the transformer yard, switchgear room, GIS room, battery room for any abnormality.
• Assist the System control section in their switching operation form remote end
• Perform making and breaking operations in various circuit breakers if system control section demands to do so
• Checking the operation of cooling fan, tap changer and other transformer accessories
• Providing safety measures for all employees and trades men to ensure a safe working environment
• Experienced with GIS (Gas Insulated Switch gear) in various high voltage level(220KV, 132KV, 66 KV)
• Experienced with different types of relays & protection equipments

Operation and maintenance of 11KV/ 415V Transformer, VCB, ACB maintenance, Water treatment plant, RO plant, Sewage Treatment Plant Operation, and BDV testing of transformer oil .
Responsibilities; Supervising of electrical and civil works, Arrange the duty and shifts

Position Held: OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (03-01-05 to 01-10-08)

• Responsibilities of operation, control and maintenance of substation in daily shifts
• Emergency and routine maintenance works carried out on the indoor switchgears and yard equipments like 110/11 KV 12.5 MVA Power Transformers, Control panels, Circuit breakers (VCB), Protective relays, Isolators etc.
• Hourly monitoring the meters for feeder's load, voltage, consumption, measurement of transformers winding temperature and oil temperature
• Carried out Switching on HV & LV
• Checking the performance of station battery by measuring the specific gravity and cell Voltage.
• Conducting the routine maintenance of 11kV feeder equipments like Vacuum operated circuit Breaker, CTs&PTs.
