• Direct report to Construction Manager. Serve as liaison with Construction Manager on barriers/emerging issues.
• Demonstrate commitment and leadership in HSE Management and actively participate in HSE activities e.g. HSE walkabout, audits, meetings, etc.
• Responsible for the supervision and liaised with Contractors on the daily construction activities of the structural and civil aspect of the job, including safety, geo-technical issues, structural, piping, E&I, mechanical fabrication & installation and site modification of the work.
• Provide mechanical completion/pre-commissioning oversight/verification.
• Supervise the mechanical completion phase and transition to final Hookup & Commissioning Phase (punch list management via ICAP thru EPC contractor).
• Reviewed, coordinated and appraised Contractor’s Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) program. Liaised with Contractor on the implementation of HSE program on the projects. Safety program such as Usee Uact, Buddy system, Risk Assessment (RA) & mini RA, JSA, Construction Risk Assessment (CRA), D&A program, Loss Prevention System (LPS), IPO, SPSA etc.
• Coordinated, provide technical support and liaised with other groups (e.g., HU&C Group, Offshore Department (OFD), Erection Group (OEG) and Design Group) on technical matters related to Structural and Civil Engineering of the projects.
• Serve as day-to-day interface with EPC contractor/sub-contractor during the Construction Phase, providing a focus on safety, quality, cost and schedule.
• Advise/communicate HSE/Construction activities to Construction Manager and Contactor.
• Assist/communicate to PMT with resolution of construction and QA/QC related technical issues.
• Control and oversee implementation of Site Safety Plan by Contractor.
• Measure and report safety metrics to PMT for utilization in future business.
• Advise/communicate with Contractor to close up any audits, findings, issues etc.
• Review quality feedback from work site.
• Provide/write up input for the weekly progress reports, pictures etc.

This contract worth around USD 2.2 Billion.
SHELL EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION, SARAWAK SHELL BERHAD - F13E (SC) DR-A SOUR GAS TOPSIDE & F13W DR-A GAS Cross Over Project (Offshore Topsides & Jackets Project)
Successful installation of F13E 2, 000 MT Topside & 4 legged Jacket (SC) and F13W 1, 800 MT Drilling Sour Gas Offshore Platforms for SHELL Exploration & Production, SARAWAK SHELL BERHAD Offshore Sarawak, East Malaysia.
• Direct report to Installation Project Manager. Completed Offshore Phase 1 Champaign 1 & 2 of the Gemusut Project Offshore execution which consisted of pipeline, flow-line, subsea wellheads, trees, anchor and manifold poles and pre-lay 12 host mooring lines. Serve as liaison with Project Manager on barriers/emerging project issues. Act as primary contact with third parties, other Departments. Coordinate resolution of technical and execution issues. This Contact worth USD2.2Billion.
• Demonstrate commitment and leadership in HSE Management and actively participate in HSE activities e.g. HSE walkabout, audits, meetings, etc. Role model for HSE, participation in HSE programs and implementation as per HSE Plan. Control and oversee implementation of HSE Plan by Contractor/Subcontractor.
• Reviewed, coordinated and appraised Contractor’s Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) program. Liaised with Contractor on the implementation of HSE program on the projects. Safety program such as UseeUact, Buddy system, Risk Assessment (RA) & mini RA, JSA, Construction Risk Assessment (CRA), D&A program, Proactive Intervention Culture (PIC) etc.
• Perform and coordinate preliminary and detail design and analysis such as in-place, loadout, transportation, installation, spectral fatigue, tow motion and mooring on Deepwater FPS (Floating Production System) and Subsea & Pipeline facilities.
• Solicit and identify offshore installation execution alternatives and drive the selection.
• Develop Project Design Basis and Project Execution Plan. Ensured input from stakeholder is addressed or incorporated in the documents.
• Coordinate with surface facilities engineers during detail design of the system.
• Coordinate with contract group to come out with final contract to be issue for tender.
• Coordinate procurement on installation equipment. Ensure commitment is within approved budget and material arrival in within the required timeframe.
