• Line Maintenance, EMMA Maintenance and troubleshooting on DHC-6 Twin otter aircraft.
• Working experience with G 950 system, GTS 800 system, GNS 430/530, Aspen system.
• Working experience with DHC-6 400 series with Honeywell primus apex system.
As an Avionics/Simulator Technician -Asian Academy of Aeronautics (PVT) Ltd-Maldives (2015-2021),
Role:
• Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance and troubleshooting of avionics, electrical and instrument systems.
• Fabricating wire harness and build up complete avionics systems (electrical, instrument and Com/Nav/GPS/DME/TPDR) on Cessna 150/52/172N/172RG /Seneca P34 Aircrafts.
• 500hrs inspection, repair and test aircraft electrical system and components such as Starter motors, Alternator, Magneto, inverters, voltage regulators, electric motor driven actuators, Landing gear electrical system, Engine electrical system, and transistorized control equipment etc.
• Repairing of Com/Nav/DME /GPS by using CMM with test equipment such as Digital Oscilloscope, Signal generator, Digital AVO meter, Watt meter and IFR tester.
• Performed Pitot static test and Compass compensation.
• Aircraft Battery activation, installation and maintenance.
• Maintenance of two Flight Simulators (Frasca 141 and Elite Evolution S812 FNPT II FSTD).
• Incorporate applicable ADs, SBs, SLs, etc.
I joined the Sri Lanka Air Force on16 August 1993 as a Technician in Air Radio Trade and completed 22 years of the service. During the said period, I have performed my duties in following areas and gained a thorough knowledge in Aircraft Engineering Maintenance, Supervising, Quality & Ground Safety, Man Management, Administration and Leadership duties related to the aircraft maintenance field in the Sri Lanka Air Force.
a. Ten Years Experiences in Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance with Avionics Component Changes, Snag Rectification, Modifications, and Inspections of Avionics Component in the Sri Lanka Air Force on following AirCraft and Helicopter.
1. Kfir TC 2 aircraft
2. Kfir C 2 aircraft
3. KfirC2 C-7 aircraft
4. C-130 H aircraft
5. Bell 212
b. Four years repairing Experiences of Avionics Component in Avionics workshop and Ground radio Component in Ground radio workshop in the Sri Lanka Air Force.
c. Three years repairing Experiences of Ground radio Component in Ground radio workshop in the Sri Lanka Air Force.
a) Install, Field Maintenance, preventive maintenance and periodical maintenance of VHF UHF HF Radio Base station, mobile, hand held transceiver.
b) Program Test VHF UHF HF Radio transceiver (Motorola GM300, GR 500repeaters and GP 300 Hand Held)
c) Workshop Maintenance Repairing, LRU and components level of VHF UHF HF Radio transceiver.
d) Install, Maintenance Field servicing of VHF UHF Antenna.

d. Three years Air Radio Trade Instructor duties performed effectively at Trade Training School, Sri Lanka Air Force Ekala.
e. I have experience in Line maintenance team leader, Aircraft Marshaling, Aircraft refueling & Operation of ground support equipments.
f. Familiar and Hand on experience of Test and Measuring Equipment such as AVO meters, Agilent -DSO-X-2002A Digital Storage Oscilloscope, Agilent 33220A Wave form Generator, Agilent 9320B spectrum analyzer, Agilent N9310A Signal generator Agilent E5061B Network analyzer, Agilent U2781A 6 slot USB modular with U2741A Digital multimeter, U2701A Oscilloscope etc
g. Field repairing and workshop repairing Experiences of Analog and digital photocopy machine brands such as Canon, Konica, Ricoh and Kyocera as well as Facsimile
