Two Main Tasks:
1. Structural Design
(RAK Municipality Approved Structural Design Engineer G+M+1)
-Designing of one, two or three story residential villa, commercial projects, Mosques.
-Obtaining full design of structural system which contains foundations (single footing, combined footing, strip footing, strap beam) Tie beams, columns, walls (shear wall, core wall), Slabs (one-way ribbed slab, two-way ribbed slab, one solid slab, two-way solid slab)
-Analysis and modeling using ETABS and SAFE, also manual analysis in special cases.
-Manual design using American (ACI 318-14 Code), British and Egyptian codes, also sometimes we use SAFE design.
-Develop a detailing for reinforcement steel (structural sections) in critical portions and for stairs, parapet, elevator core wall, swimming pools and any other structural element when necessary.
-Using AutoCAD, I draw structural sheets which contains Axis and Footing Layout, Axis and Each Floor Columns Layout, Tie Beams Layout, Each Floor Beams and Slabs, Structural Schedule and Structural Sections.

2. Supervision
-Tracking the construction projects since starting the excavation until the finishing.
-Checking architectural and structural elements to be compatible with the drawings and specifications.
-Special inspection for structural elements (footing, tie beams, columns, beams&slabs)
-Make sure of quality of the finishing works (block works, Plaster, electrical works, water&sanitary pipes, painting, tiles&ceramics, aluminum doors&windows)
-Watching all concrete casting works, make slump test, cubes and any other required test, checking truck mixer bill (cement type&content, batch time, concrete characteristics strength, chemical added)
-Check service drawing (electrical, telephone, water plan, drainage)
-Check project specifications (doors type, painting type&colors, electrical wires manufacturing country, pipes diameter&type, handrails shape).
