governmental organizations in Federal Iraq and with the relevant Ministries.
-Monitoring, and evaluating the Iraqi context and the overall security situation
of Handicap International areas of intervention in Iraq.

-Representing Handicap International towards humanitarian coordination

-Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the logistics operations all over
Iraq.
-Reporting Iraq's security and political situation to management and providing
the management with security analysis.
-Ensuring that logistic procedures are carried out in accordance with Relief
International regulations and policies.
-Advising that management on the best possible procurement strategies.
-Negotiating the various contractors, vendors, and landlords/ladies.
-Responsible for the preparation and implementation of Bill of Quantities,
Purchase Requests, Quotations, Purchase Orders, Tenders, Contracts,
Delivery Notes, Handover Certificates, and Receipts of Payment.
-Supervising the work of the support staff (guards, cleaners, drivers)
-Managing all contracts including supply, transport, and rental contracts.
-Taking care of the transportation of staff, and goods in the field, taking care of
the logistics aspects connected to external visits to the mission, and
organization of workshops and training.
Al-
International Committee of the Red Cross, Baghdad
-General Security includes follow-up of the developments of the security
environment in Iraq and its impact on the situation of the ICRC.
-Updating security manuals (in relation to Iraq) on regular basis and advising
all national and international staff accordingly.
-Made the necessary recommendations and channeled all relevant
information related to the context and the security situation.
-Supervised the Watchmen and participated in the selection/dismissal of
guards.
-Participated in the implementation of the passive security measures of ICRC
Premises.
-Briefing newcomers, national and international, of the security situation in
respect of field movements and passive security measures.
-Ensuring that all safety and security setup (offices, residence, warehouses,
and workshop) is perfectly running to the ICRC rules and guidelines and
especially according to the security situation prevailing on the ground.
-Participated in the selection of buildings in terms of defined security criteria
and ensured physical security against fire, bullets, and blasts.
-Supervised the maintenance team and conducted performance reviews of
workers and technicians.
-Resolved maintenance problems and recommended measures to improve
conditions and operation of equipment.
-Used different techniques and guidelines to ensure a safe environment
around the office and the premises.
-Responsible for all the renovation projects and maintenance of the ICRC
Premises.

-Supervising a team in relation to protection against corrosion of oil pipelines
in Fao-Basrah.
-Reconstruction of various Oil and degassing stations in Rumaila/Basrah.
-Reconstruction of Khor Al-Umaya and Al-Baker oil terminals in the Gulf.
