Project : Bahrain International Airport Modernization Program
Project Description : Main Works Package - Passenger Terminal Building (PTB), Central Utility Complex (CUC), West Car Park Building, Landside Infrastructure and associated roadwork & Airside Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare Interim Payment Application for Client and recommend to Cost Consultant for approval of payment based on site progress / work done.
• Quantity Take-off from approved drawings, specifications & BOQ preparation.
• Prepare Subcontractor’s Payment Certificates from measurements, documentations, to approval of related department Managers.
• Prepare Engineer Instructions to define project budgets that to be submitted later as Variation Order.
• Prepare Monthly Cost Report for Manpower, PMV, Back charges, Seconded Staff, modified ledger for CVR, etc.
• Control and Monitor of project expenditure including verifying and checking subcontractor’s IPC and Purchase order payments to Suppliers to ensure that all are taken and properly recorded in the cost log.

Project : Construction of East Corridor P011 (Package 2)
Project Description : Doha Expressways Project Construction of 11km Mainline including Interchanges IC27, IC28, IC29A and IC9.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate the Contractor’s Interim Payment Application.
• Prepare the Interim Payment Certificate to be submitted to the Project Management Consultant.
• Prepare Site Instructions to define project budgets that to be submitted later as Variation Order.
• Support preparation of variation orders.
• Prepare as built measurements to be used in final account.
Responsibilities:
• Quantity take-off for utilities such as storm water, chilled water line, fire fighting water network, potable water network, sewage network, irrigation network, IT and LV line and utility buildings- potable and irrigation water tanks.
• Evaluate site instructions issued by the engineer.
• Prepare rate analysis for star rate item.
• Responsible in preparing Interim payment application.
• Prepare forecast quantities and updating final measurement.
• Evaluate sub-contractor’s payment application.
• Visit site to update the progress of work.
• Prepare progress photographs.
• Prepare drawings use as back-up for IPA and site instructions using Autocad.
• Responsible in quantity measurement/take-off for storm water, water network, communication line, electrical line, earth works, road Pavement, street Light and miscellaneous works.
• Responsible in calculating and preparing drawing plans for variation order and all various works that can be claim which is not covered by the Project Contract.
• Prepare monthly valuations for progress billing.
• Review tender documents such as contract drawings, specifications & Bill of Quantities.
• Assist in preparing documents for bidding of other projects.
Responsibilities:
• As Stake quantification comprising calculations for back-up of all pay items of each bridge with respect to the approved original Bill of Quantities including new works/ pay items that may arise during the construction stage. Quantity calculations of Earthwork related activities such as Excavation, Embankment and Slope Protection works based on approved As Stake survey. Quantity calculations for Structures such as Reinforcing Bars, Structural Steel components and concrete depending upon the approved shop drawings.
• As Built quantification and preparation of required back-up calculations based on the actual measurements/ dimensions and final survey and stationing of roadways and structures including all miscellaneous items.
• Assist in preparing Progress Billing
• Prepare back-up calculations for billing purposes with respect to actual work accomplished at site areas.
• Prepare supporting documents and other related requirements as needed for Variation orders including Itemized Cost of Revision, justifications for changes in quantities or items of works, Straight Line Diagram, etc.
• Prepare photographs per scope of work used in Progress Billing and Monthly Report
• Responsible for the evaluation of data gathered from the survey.
• Accomplish drawing plans using computer aided design (Autocad)
• Attend daily meeting and directly report to Construction Manager regarding As-staked and As-built quantities.
• Site visiting, field verifications on the actual conditions and accomplishments at site.
• Responsible in quantity measurement/take-off of Infrastructure works such as bridges, interchanges, LRT, Road Widening, Tunnel, Drainage Network, Gas Distribution, Power Distribution, etc.
• Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities using Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement (Third Edition).
• Accomplish drawings and other related documents using ASITE & ACONEX systems.
