My Job role includes taking KT from current IT staff and educating same to Team, managing transition, management of Windows Servers and day to day activity related to Windows Servers in Data Centre, leading team of Windows and Data Centre OPS, Managing escalation, providing a solution to high priority issue.
My Job role includes management of Windows Servers including Active Directory, Exchange & File server. Group Policy management for servers and workstation hardening. Servers & application patching. Managing escalation from Wintel L1 & Helpdesk support. Managing SLA for incident and support request. Following change management process for Windows server patching and application upgradations or any major or minor change in servers or applications.
Manage servers including Exchange server, file & print server, and domain controllers. User ID and mailbox creation, defining mailbox quota & restrictions, security and distribution groups management. Troubleshoot e-mail related issue. Applying group policies and managing network shares. Plan for departmental wide hardware and software upgrades and oversee licenses. Install, troubleshoot and support 300+ computers and operating systems including windows, AIX and Linux. Antivirus installation, patch management for servers and client computers. Provide support to remote offices. Planning and deploying backup strategies for the server.
