-Responsible for business development and relationship management for SME business
clients
-Supervising a group of Commercial Banking Relationship Managers
-Directing the new business efforts of the group within a designated area
-Acquisition of new business through active calling on existing SME clients to solicit
referrals and calling on targeted prospects to identify product and service solutions that
meet their financial needs and will benefit their business
-Achieving established goals as outlined by the Head Office
-Evaluating credit information and credit requests and recommend appropriate loan
structure to manage risk
-Effectively negotiating with SME clients to maximize revenue and minimize risk
-Closely working with internal contacts to service clients
-Interviewing applicants on site and consult with the SME clients to develop information
concerning their businesses and requirements
-Evaluating credit information and making relationship recommendations
-Maximizing the designated SME Credit Centre profitability through the maintenance of
a high quality portfolio
-Following current SME portfolio to ensure conformity with terms and conditions
submitted by the head office
-Following market trends and developments to increase the Bank's business
-Supervising the follow up and collection efforts where and when needed and stating the
appropriate recommendation concerning defaulted credit
-“A” class authorized signatory and a senior credit committee member.
