“In-charge SCM” for the Service Centre facility at Hazira (Production Cap. 0.3 million MT per month and currently operating at 0.2 million MT per month), and responsible for the timely processing and delivery of the customer orders. SCM Functions including planning the production, processing, Handling the Stocks (RM, WIP & FG), Logistics Movement of FG to Customer end, at times commercial parts involved in the above mentioned. Beyond this, In-charge of SAP Systems in the plant ensuring flawless systems are in place, so that production and dispatch meets the plan. Also involved in day to day production of steel products.
Responsible for the entire piping works for the consigned area and also in the fabrication shop. Punch List Clearance, attending all technical queries in piping and welding. Prepare ‘As-Built’ drawings, work plans (both weekly and monthly). Witness the hydro test for pipe lines. Conduct NDT for welded joints, if necessary. Reinstatement works after the pre-commissioning activities and handling the field queries regarding additional supports. Ensure blinds are removed and proper gaskets are installed. Confirm repairs, re-testing and re-inspection in accordance with specifications.
