Lead and manage procurement activities in relation to Rigs, Drilling & Workover activities, in support of New Well Delivery ±85 Wells per Annum and ±220 Workovers, to sustain production of approximately 1.5 MMbpd. Scope included ± 13 Drilling Units, ± 13 Workover Units, and all associated services such as, but not limited to Directional Drilling Services, Liner Hangers, Fluids, Cementing, TCP, Hydraulic Fracturing, Stimulation and Emergency Well Control. Responsibilities include:
• Portfolio with an aggregate value of ±$1, 800 Million.
• First level leader to manage and oversee work activity of 2x FTE.
• Lead and accountable for high value and complex sourcing events, covering the full procurement cycle, including contract engineering, tender management, tender evaluation, and contract negotiations.
• Accountable for the transformation of Turnkey Drilling and Day Rate Rig contract templates, including; terms and conditions, technical specifications, contract payments, and HSE requirements. Embedding CI initiatives and capturing lessons learned.
• Develop and implement category strategies, with the objective to enhance agility, capitalize on strategic opportunities, stimulate competition within an established region, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Lead contract management activities, including; strategic performance review meetings, negotiating high complexity and high value disputes.
• Safeguard cost recovery, and maintain compliance with the TSC and Procurement Guidelines.
• Create cost estimates and lead meetings with Ministerial Cost Team.
• Develop and coach NOC representatives, striving to grow their skills and build their experience.
• Lead contracting strategies and present contract awards to all governance bodies, liaising with all IJV partners including the NOC.

Lead and manage procurement activities in relation to the Refining & Chemicals Category, accounting for ±$40 Million annual spend. Sub-categories include but are not limited to; Catalysts, Chemicals, Additives, Waste Management, Managed Maintenance Services, HSSE Services, and Tier-1 Oil Spill Response Services. Responsibilities include:
• First level leader to manage and oversee work activity of 2x FTE.
• Responsible for high value and complex sourcing events, covering the full procurement cycle. Managed and supported the team in accruing an average documented rate reduction of 20%.
• Develop and implement category strategies, with the objective to shift towards a more strategic approach in relation to sourcing and supply chain management activities.
• Initiate and support transformation initiatives, with the objective to improve the quality, dependability, and effectiveness of procurement activities.
• Develop and coach direct reports, striving to grow their skills and build their experience.
• Liaise with National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) and Tender Board with regards to contract awards, and other procurement related initiatives.

Lead procurement activities in relation to Maintenance Services Category for BP’s Downstream Refineries, Petrochemical Plants and Terminals across Europe and Africa (E&A).
• Develop and implement category strategies for Tank Turnarounds (TAR) including auxiliary disciplines such as engineering services and equipment. Scope ± 200 Tanks across E&A addressed between 2020 - 2023, with a value of ±$500 Million.
• Lead cross-functional peer assists and transformation initiatives across Europe and Africa, identifying key value drivers, and sourcing new technology to optimize Tank TAR programs.
• On average reduced tank turnaround cycle times by 13 months, 16% average cost reduction, increased revenues accrued per tank by $5.5 Million and working capital improvement by ±$1 Million.
• Sourcing lead for Tank TAR and other maintenance services such as Piping & Mechanical, Bolt Tensioning, and Field Machining. Contract values ±$10 Million - $100 Million.
• Manage the full procurement cycle including, contract engineering, tender management, tender evaluation, supplier management, high value and complex contract negotiations.
• Manage, work with, and coach outsourced procurement team based in Budapest.

Lead procurement activities in relation to 36 inimitable O&M Categories that include Fabric Maintenance, Fabrication and Construction, Turnaround and General Maintenance, Rotating Equipment, Electrical & Instrumentation. Responsibilities and accomplishments include:
• Sourcing lead on regional and cross regional RFIs, RFQs, Tenders.
• Demonstrated an average documented rate reduction of 13% per tender.
• Review internal procurement processes, reducing tender cycle times by two (2) months.
• Lead and support the transformation of standard contract documents including terms and conditions, scope of work, and contract payment sections.
• Performance manage CapEx and OpEx projects.
• Support the development of annual North Sea operating CapEx and OpEx budgets.
• Develop and implement new commercial models to support brownfield operations.
• Perform activities including, covering the full procurement cycle, including contract engineering, tender management, tender evaluation, as well as high value and high complexity contract negotiations.

Lead and support procurement activities in relation categories that include Waste Management, Emergency Oil Spill Response, Well Services, Reliability and Maintenance. Average annual spend of categories equal to ±$800 Million.
• Sourcing lead and assist on regional Tenders for North Sea, Alaska, Azerbaijan, AsPac, Gulf of Mexico, Angola, Oman, Canada and Iraq. Contract values ranging ±$20 Million - $200 Million.
• Cost reduction, scope standardization, and Total Cost of Ownership optimization, demonstrated 18% average cost reduction.
• Successfully developing and implementing new commercial models to support brownfield operations.
• Assist on creating and implementing Global Category Strategies.
• Category Management Common Process (CMcp) Continuous Improvement Workshop; contributing to the enhancement of BP’s internal sourcing process.
• Performance manage counter party due diligence (CDD) and closure of audits (ABC & Commercial) for GOO (Global Operations Organization) for Asia Pacific, AGT, Gulf of Mexico, and Alaska. Having achieved a 100% compliance rate.
• Perform activities including, covering the full procurement cycle, including contract engineering, tender management, tender evaluation, as well as high value and high complexity contract negotiations.
