Attending patients needs.

• Prepares and coordinates duty schedule and assignments of the staff and nursing assistant.
• Evaluates, teaches and records the qualities of the service rendered by the staff, nurses and nursing assistant and counseling them the basic findings through periodic meetings.
• Cultivates among personnel the spirit of cooperation, understanding and unity through proper coordination with the nursing service director, medical staff, supervisor and dep’t. Heads.
• Provides system of orientation for new nurse, students and nursing assistant in the unit.
• Encourages and facilitates staff attendance for all in-service training program offered for their educational advancement.
• Responsible for all ER equipments and supplies, its procurement, distribution and disposal and keeps proper inventories and updates.
• Keeps all records for out-patients seen in the unit.
• Checks that E-cart is always complete and ready for use anytime.
• Participates in committee works, and conducts unit meetings as necessary.
• Keeps memos from different retainers, and department heads for proper and clearer understanding.
• Keeps updates and proposal such as procedure rates, ambulance rates and other charges.
• Updates the staff personnel when there are new memos/guidelines to be implemented.
• Evaluates the staff performance after 6 months. If unable to meet the job expectation may recommend to other department.
• Shows ability in triage and prioritizing of cases.
• Shows ability and expertise in operating equipment such as defibrillator, ECG machine, cardiac monitor, pulse oximeter, suction machine etc.
• Renders good nursing care to patients according to their individual needs.
