Monitors and records patient's vital signs as well as patient's blood glucose. Provides health care, first aid and assistance to patients. Prepares patients for, and assists with, examinations and treatments. Prepares and administers intramuscular medication. Adheres to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage.
Develops and executes a teaching curriculum for midwifery students. Explains specifics about the job to the students so they are prepared to work with patients in clinical settings. Lectures students, conducts and supervises laboratory work and issues assignments.
Assigned Nurse in OB Ward, Delivery Room, NICU and ICU. Assess patient's health problems and needs and develops and implements nursing care plans. Monitors, records and reports symptoms and changes in patient's conditions. Prepares and administers intravenous medications as well as doing intravenous insertion to patients. Assists in the delivery of infants and doing newborn care as well as administering immunization and new born screening. Documents patient care services by charting in patient's records. Renders health education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
