A medical technologist in a secondary laboratory which conducts medical laboratory testing. Performs phlebotomy procedures, prepares patients samples, accomplishes examinations requested and correlates results with clinical findings together with medical history. Operates and maintains machines including preparation of reagents used for sample analysis. Refers unusual findings to the pathologist and comply with laboratory safety and regulations.

Phlebotomy - collects blood using syringe and transfers blood to proper tubes
•Hematology - performs hematologic procedures using HORIBA ABX MICROS ES 60
- performs routine and medical procedures and body fluid
examinations which includes: CBC, Platelet Count, Blood indices, ESR, Bleeding Time, ABO/Rh blood typing, Seminal Fluid Analysis and Synovial Fluid Analysis
- prepares blood film smear and staining it for leukocyte and platelet estimates, WBC differential count, RBC morphology and abnormalities
- other equipment used are Union Pippette Shaker, Light
Microscope (Olympus LED CX22), Micro-Hematocrit Centrifuge ( Hawksley and Digi system)
