• Key role aimed at increasing visibility of/ promoting engagement within, the university’s; coordinating collaboration programs with external organizations; increasing participation/connections; improving/facilitating partnerships to enhance engagement and collaboration opportunities.

Selected duties/achievements:

• Organizing and conducting visits of the university, aimed at increasing visibility of and promoting engagement; showcasing KAUST facilities and expertise as a destination for prospective students, researchers, academics, industry and government agencies and organizations.
• Meeting visitors and providing a high level overview of the university and engagement & development activities.
• Gathering and documenting potential needs of university visitors in research services, collaboration and engagement.
• Coordinating and supporting individual department and external engagement endeavors, including liaising with organizations involved.
• Supporting the overall communication effort of the wider university; provide logistical support and coordinating the organization of a range of events/workshops.
• Developing the online visiting/booking system (updating the visiting program and reporting system, and maintaining and updating the web page as required).
• Supporting outreach programs aimed at growing engagement with external organizations, i.e. academia, industries and research institutions.

• To assist with the efficient processing of student applications and other admission & enrollment activities, such as interview scheduling, room arrangements, airline tickets, hotel bookings, visa processing and other related logistics.
