1. Provide quality engineering support to necessary manufacturing operations and new product launches.
2. Identify Quality issues and drive corrective actions to resolve them.
3. Work in a manufacturing environment and apply QA & QC knowledge into manufacturing processes.
4. Develop and Monitor implementation of Quality Control procedures within the Tin and Plastic manufacturing plants.
5. Use Quality Standards - These are company methods (quite similar to ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO/TS1694 or Use TPS - Toyota production systems quality standards).
6. Evaluate, create and analyze PPAP information.
7. Lead quality improvement efforts in designated areas with an ultimate goal of improving "zero defects" performance.
8. Support quality related process improvement and problem solving efforts aiming to improve product quality. Support Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
9. Implement QC and QA related root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
10. Establish quality related controls to track and measure critical processes within the plant.
11. Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;
12. Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals;
13. Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;
14. Identifying training needs.
Conduct studies and implement programs to determine optimum inventory levels for production and to allow optimum utilization of machinery, materials and resources
Establish programs and conduct studies to enhance industrial health and safety or to identify and correct fire and other hazards.
Design and test polymer processing, associated plants and equipment
Conduct and Supervise Calibration
Establish and conduct quality control programs, operating procedures and control strategies to ensure consistency and adherence to standards for raw materials, products and waste products or emissions
Compile and prepare new work instruction, standard operating procedures of Present and New products as they are required and obtain necessary approvals well in time with cooperation of other departments
Assure proper and respectable storage of all molds and dies with adequate oiling/greasing maintenance as per their usage-Storage location and records are to be maintained
Polymer engineering is generally an engineering field that designs, analyses, and/or modifies polymer materials. Polymer engineering covers aspects of petrochemical industry, polymerization, structure and characterization of polymers, properties of polymers, compounding and processing of polymers and description of major polymers, structure property relations and applications.
