Purchase, Stock & Logistics -Controller for 3 Showrooms - May-2011 to Present
AL MAJED JEWELLERY, a retailer for luxury and premium jewelry and watch brands; To handle all luxury and premium jewelry and watch brands. We are leading retailer in the country of Qatar with more than 48 world’s finest jewelry & watch brands.
Few of the brands in Jewelry such as: Moussaieff, Christies, Bogh-Art, Crivelli, Tuany roma, Roberto coin, Daniel K, Autore, Gucci etc.
Few of the brands in Watches such as: Patek Philippe, Jaeger Le Coultre, Bovet, Parmigiani, Hublot, Bell & Ross, F.P Journe, IWC, Versace, Buben & Zorweg, Greubel Forsey etc.
Managing a Team of 3 Assistant Stock Controllers.
Conducting Full physical stock Audit at all the Showrooms on monthly basis.
Ensure stock taking of jewellery & watches for all Suppliers & showrooms on time.
Handling Gold & Loose Diamond accounts & check on the stock of workshop materials & process the goods to be purchased for workshop.
Inspection of items in detail by safety handling methods for received Goods,
Scanning & Uploading into ERP all merchandise like Gold, Jewellery, Diamonds, Watches etc.
Creation of Item Master with all the descriptions and assigning Selling prices .
Authorizing - GRN and Cost Sheet.
Authenticate price policy for Bar code printing and Price tag fixing.
Updation of Selling prices of all the Branches, price lists received by suppliers.
Validation of stock transfer within all branches.
Complying stock & Sales reports of all the suppliers at the end of the every month.
Report on damages of each showroom & co-ordination between showroom & workshop.
Arranging repairs and returns with manufacturers and suppliers.
Handling Purchase proposal / Purchase order / Purchase conformation / Back orders / Price and Availability / Purchase requisition & Temprory import.
Organize Quotations for special Tenders like, Diwan Emir (Ministry), Wajba (Palace), Qatar Petroleum and Qatar Tennis Federation.
Work with Accounts & Finance, Sales departments in all aspects of pricing and forecasting.
Verification of legal Documents, for customs to clear valuables & co-ordinating with frieght forwarding agency.
Coordinating & involving with the Custom Agent with regards to the Imports, Exports, Purchase Returns, Temporary import shipments by providing the documents needed.
Intimating regular changes on Qatar customs rules & regulations to all suppliers.
Legalizing the Export Documents through Qatar Chamber of Commerce
Responsible for all the operations like Temporary Export and Imports, Display and Valuables merchandise at the time of annual DOHA JEWELLERY & WATCHES EXHIBITION.
Coordinating with suppliers during Doha fair.
Monitoring Sales & handling Cash Counter at the Annual Fair to ensure smooth operation.
Attending trade shows and vendor sponsored training.
Handling Showroom Operations - Sales, Staff, Merchandise, Visual Merchandise and co-ordinating with mall managment as Showroom Manager at the timeof employee’s vacation.
