Finance Associate - Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the preparation of operating budgets, Sale trends, financial Statements.
• Processing requisition and other business forms, checking account balances, and managing bank
accounts including daily, monthly and annual bank reconciliations.
• Tracking credit limits allowed and consumed for Customer order releases by observing receipts and
sales & collaborating with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.
• Maintaining complete track record of Import documentation till filing of GD and responsibility
regarding Financial Instruments approval. Opening of bank contracts, letter of credits (LC) and
shipping guarantees.
• Streamlining the process of acceptance of import documents and release of funds for making stock
purchases by tracking open market rate for foreign currencies.
• Managing account records, issuing invoices, and handling payments related to imports (including
supplier payments and custom clearance)
• Analyzing financial data and assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
• Updating financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest available data.
• Reviewing existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

In Deloitte Pakistan as supervisor Audit performed the following tasks.
• Assisted in pre-audit field work activities including acceptance and continuance procedures, preparation of
job budgets and division of responsibilities across multiple clients at once.
• Reviewed the group reporting package, appendices, and other deliverables as per the referral instructions
to the group auditors in Turkey for Coca Cola International.
• Assessed risk of the client in accordance with firm’s audit methodology and planned audit procedures
required to cover this risk.
• Performed audit procedures over complex areas e.g., revenues, inventories, current and deferred, post-
employment benefits, journal entry testing and capital work in progress along with documentation.
• Promoted the firm’s quality control procedures and policies to ensure compliance with independence and
ethical requirements as issued by IFAC; and
• Assisted senior team members in carrying out quality audit and, other assurance services and review of
compliance with applicable requirement and industry-specific regulations.
Timely executed audit work on assigned areas, documented conclusions reached and communicated
accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners within timeline.
• Performed D&I on control environment of clients through understanding, evaluating, and testing the design
and operational effectiveness of internal control systems along with providing business-oriented
recommendations; and
• Interacted with clients on day-to-day basis while adopting a communication style to meet the needs of the situation and targeted audience.
