• Working as Occupational Health Specialist and Head of the Department, lead the Health team for the implementation of Occupational Health management (OH) system at all Shell Pakistan operations. Appraise and coach the Health team to maximize performance.

• Through strong interpersonal skills, maintain an effective contact with Country Leadership Team, Business Leaders, and contractors to engage them proactively in all health matters related to their business.
• Single point accountability for all financial and operational KPIs.
• Comprehensively revised Business continuity and Medical Emergency Response Procedure to include all local and newly emerging health threats.
• Close coordination with the best hospitals/medical service providers for staff referrals in emergency and prompt assistance during their stay in hospital.

• As a lead auditor for OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001, conducted various internal audits of the plant to determine conformance against standards.
· Provide Family Medicine and occupational health care including pre-employment medical examination, for various companies, and educate the prevention of diseases and disorders by advising patients on diet, exercise, hygiene and general health.
· Coordinated and advice various multinational companies about their medical screening procedures, other occupational health issues and setup of field clinics.
· Actively participate in the weekly Continuous Medical Education (CME) programs on various presentations on Family Medicine and Occupational Medicine.
· Reviewed systems and procedures at the clinics in order to enhance quality of service by serving as the Quality Management Representative (QMR) for ISO 9001.
· Through hands-on management, maintained a high level of efficiency amongst the nursing, bio-medical and other support staff to ensure quality health care services and to enhance patients’ satisfaction and loyalty.
· Actively review clinic systems and procedures to enhance quality of service.
· Extensively involved in strategic planning for department including expansion plans.
• On the field coordination and management of the provision of health and medical services in the project phase of onshore gas processing plant at a remotest site.
• Provide emergency and occupational health care to the company and contractors employees at the onshore upstream gas processing plant.
• Reviewed and implemented OH procedures for field sites and geological operations in Pakistan.
• Developed and executed medical evacuation and triage procedures for various onshore fields and offices.
• Single handedly managed many medical evacuations from onshore plant to nearest medical facility through ambulance / charter plane / Helicopter.
• Effectively maintained a close coordination with the local hospitals and medical service providers for prompt response in case of emergency.
• Conducted training programs for all staff on occupational health, basic & advance first aid, and various health hazards and its prevention.
