• Conducting credit appraisal for mid-sized & large corporate clients based in India across diverse sectors (such as steel, construction, power, mining, etc.). Credit approvals for all products including bilateral loans, trade finance and working capital facilities, syndicated loans, project and export finance etc.
• Appraisal of company creditworthiness by undertaking in depth analysis of financial statements, project evaluation, industry analysis and business risk assessment. Validation of cash flow projection models. Effectively assessed project risk. Critical recommendation of business proposals to credit committees.
• Assessment of term sheet, working capital, term loans, derivative facilities, other fund based and non-fund based facility requirements and ensuring that proposal is consistent with underlying risk trends.
• Identification of early warning signals and initiating appropriate rating action to influence exposure decisions.
• Periodic review of the portfolio companies on regular basis on various parameters.
• Working in Commercial & Marketing area and handling key strategic issues that have direct impact on companies' growth. Monitoring ‘Key Performance Indicators’ of various business units, submitting progress report to board level ‘Executive Committee’.
• Using business analysis skills, Identifying potential loss opportunities and providing inputs to prepare counter action plan.
• Developed a comprehensive database and research reports on various industry trends in supply, demand, consumption, production etc.
• Interaction with various business units head on various technical/commercial issues. Understand associated business processes & requirements and translating them to specific requirements.
