Review and study of project specification requirement, Quality control and Engineering requirements
Responsible for organizing, implementing and executing inspection and test for welds and piping in accordance with project code and specification requirement and safety requirement.
Review method of statement and inspection test plan ITP, PQR, WPS, and MTC as per client Requirements
Responsible for monitoring inspect and administering quality of work, ensuring that all work area in accordance with the approved drawing and specification required and make sure the inspection, witnessing, hold points. Client / owner are complied as identified in the inspection test plan (ITP).
Review radiography film, NDE activities and ensure the sub-contractor are following the requirement procedures..
Monitoring piping fabrication work, fit-up, welding and erection and coordinate to sub-contractor to assure that construction activities effecting safety and quality are compliance with project requirements.
Prepare punch list for completed line and review test packages prior for hydro testing.
Witness of Hydro-testing,
Assist Project Team in implementing established project systems and procedures.
Plan, coordinate and conduct Subcontract Quality Audits to ensure conformance with company and client quality requirements.
• Effective implementation of non-conformance, corrective action, and preventive action management processes.
• Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system.
• Duties cover implementation of all inspection requirements at all phases of construction, equipment installation, Testing, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning.
Co-ordinate/carry out inspection of construction activities to ensure the sub-contractor following ITP and the approved Procedures and Standards
Review of Test certificates of equipment and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and Construction Codes.
Ensure the implementation of procedures, specifications, drawings, inspection and test plans, certificates, work instructions etc.
Ensure Management of Change and Site Query practices are in accordance with Project procedures.
Participate in walk downs of completed Piping systems and Mechanical Installations for punch Listing of Incomplete items and coordinate to ensure the punch points were cleared prior Pressure Test.
Attend meetings as required by the line manager.
Frequently visit and liaise with Contractor personnel on site to keep the QA/QC manager informed with all ongoing and forecasted activities related to the work.
Co-operate with the field engineers, discipline construction superintendents for all disciplines.
Liaise with sub-Contractor regarding documentation, QC issues, review, assist in close-out activities, Assist in any quality related queries. Ensure that contractors comply with all aspects of the Worksite HSE Plan and policy; site regulations, permit to work and Client requirements.
Supervise total Welding, Piping and Equipment construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule; includes interfacing with client representatives, other contractors, etc.
Detailed planning, coordination and interfacing of construction activities within a continuous operating plant environment.
Resolves problems and difficulties encountered or elevates it to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
Ensure by leadership and guidance that contracted works meets all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality and contract target completions.
Thirteen years of continuous experience as in the role of a QA/QC discipline supervisor as well as a Senior QA/QC Inspector, to execute general quality management program for Welding, Piping, Mechanical, testing and commissioning for large oil gas projects in Kuwait, State of Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and UAE.
Assist QA/QC manger in developing systems and procedures in compliance with client project quality requirements.
