is a Dubai (UAE) based company dealing with Trading and
Exporting to Metal scraps to more than 15 countries with an annual turnover of AED 400 million,
Supporting business/trading departments by handling all aspects of banking documentation and procedures mainly
application of letter of credit, import/export L/C and collection bills, Export Bills discounting, processing TR
applications, Banker’s guarantee and liaising with Banks for rectifying discrepancies on L/C documents etc.,
Accounts Payable and receivable, Forex, Shipping & Freight, Accounting, MIS, Administrative functions like Utility
Payments, Salaries, Trade License renewals, Credit card payments, Claims, VAT refunds etc
➢ Management of Cash /Bank Limits and updating MIS on Funds position with Banks
➢ Handling Petty cash - Recording, disbursement, and MIS
➢ Process outgoing remittance and tracking /recording of inward remittances
➢ Process Trade Export Bills to be sent to banks for negotiation
➢ Follow up on Trade Export Bills discrepancies, acceptance and payment
➢ Process accounting data entries into accounting system (in-house SAP system)
➢ Follow up on Trade Import Bills applications, amendments and settlement

➢ Bank reconciliations
➢ Preparation & completion of month-end accounting schedules
➢ Assist the finance team in ad-hoc tasks when required
➢ Purchase Invoices recording and entries
➢ Filing of VAT returns and refunds
➢ Processing Claim payments received from Customers/Suppliers
➢ Scrutinising and Payment of Utility Bills
➢ Processing Credit Card payments and Loan instalments
➢ Renewals of trade licences and Insurance Policies
➢ Follow-up with the customers for timely payments
➢ Follow-up with Shipping companies and Freight Forwarders for booking of containers and rates
➢ Invoice booking and payments to Shipping Lines/Agents
➢ Arranging of Trust Receipt Loans for timely payment to suppliers
➢ Follow up with Local/ International Customers for timely receipt of payment
➢ To keep track on PDC realization and settlement of liability with Banks
➢ Good knowledge in Forex Markets
➢ Develop and maintain relations with banks and Group Treasury in order to facilitate and ensure smooth
working, support and quick resolution of issues.
➢ Timely submission of MIS reports to Management
➢ Accounting upto Trial Balance/Ledger Scrutiny and reconciliation
➢ Taking care of administrative functions and timely payment of Utility payments
➢ Prepared Audit documents and promptly responded to the Audit queries.
➢ Knowledge of insurance, Trade Marks & worked with Credit Rating Agencies
➢ Knowledge of Online payment to suppliers through NEFT/RTGS/Swifts methods
➢ Interaction with Banks for availing /renewal of Credit facilities &follow up.
➢ Knowledge of costing
➢ Working closely with inter departments to establish a strong working atmosphere
➢ Expertise in independently handling written and oral communications
➢ Expertise in handling multi-currency accounts
