• Lead a team of inspectors and monitor all aspects of quality control related to raw material inspection, in-process inspection, welding, NDT, hydro test and painting.
• Able to manage day to day quality work planning, document control as per Customer requirements to ensure product and process complies with OEM or API such as Ram BOP, Annular BOP, Valves, Wellhead & Christmas tree, Tubing & Casing Head, Tubing & Casing Hangers, PBL Jetting Drill Tool, Actuators and Spacer Spools & API Clamps etc.
• Anything related to quality department needs to find out & Implement.
• Coordinate final inspection and be responsible for the release of workshop job orders after ensuring all activities are completed as per the job route card & final Inspection check sheet.
• Ensure non-conformances are identified and closed prior to acceptance of work.
• Perform site visits to troubleshoot field issues and attend customer complaints.
• Witness pressure tests and carried out third party & Customer inspection on the required products as per ITP.
• Job orders after ensuring all QC activities are completed as per the documentation as per customer PO.
• Perform & responsible for in-house calibration of linear measuring instruments and pressure gauges & chart recorder.
• Be responsible to keep the calibration status current and maintain the physical calibration status control tags on the instruments.
• Notify Quality manager for the calibration status of measuring & testing instruments for each month.
• Raise non-conformance reports (internal & supplier) for the discrepant items at each stage of inspection and follow up with concern department’s for their close out.
• Perform all necessary activities to achieve quality objectives set for the Quality dept.
• Preparation of certificate package for completed job orders.
• Maintain calibration status for in-house testing flanges, drifts, mandrels, torque wrench.
