1. Operate and monitor all systems within the control room in an efficient manner ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation and the codes of practice. 2. Liaise with the Police, other agencies by various communication systems to ensure the most appropriate and effective use of the system. To include all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence. 3. Report equipment failure to the Manager to maximize operation of the system. 4. Record all events and actions in a clear, legible and accurate written format. To provide an efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries. 5. Control access to all visitors to the control room in order to maintain high security and confidentiality of the CCTV operation. 6. Assist with the production of monthly statistical reports, incident log and camera fault reports, reported to senior managers and members. 7. Undertake other duties associated with the Control Room, i.e. dealing with out of hour’s emergency telephone calls and arranging appropriate responses. Be aware of and complying with all Health and Safety procedures i.e. emergency evacuation procedures..
Maintain the security and safety of property, staff and visitors. Carry out Foot and Vehicle Patrols, Access Control, Control of Keys, Emergency Respond and Notification, Public Relations. Escalate all concerns in relation to Fire, Life & Safety issues to the chief security. Monitor C.C.T.V. system, emergency telephone, elevator control monitor, and emergency lighting control monitor. Maintaining files and cleanliness of the Security Control Room. Performs all other related duties as directed by Management. Responsible for reporting any incidents or issues that can affect safety and security of the guests, visitors & property. Keeping peace and order within the premises of the workplace in dealing with criminals, trespassers or difficult characters. Keeping the Duty Shift Chief security, constantly posted on all matters of security interest affecting the workplace and the Department. Conduction regular and periodical checks and taking immediate follow-up action to rectify faults, damage, etc.
Monitoring surveillance cameras. Operate security system. Report about the incidents and accidents to the shop manager. Receive and respond to calls for emergency assistance at any time. Assess the requirement of the situation and initiate the appropriate response. Closely monitoring the situation through CCTV and giving immediate support to all the operational team members during exhibitions, conference and different events.
Duties &Responsibilities-
Maintaining of various types of extinguishing like deluge, sprinkler, portable dry powder, foam, co2, halon, fm2oo and novec 123 system.
Check any corrective and preventive maintenance of Fire Alarm, Extinguishing, deluge and sprinkler system.
Check, test and monitor for diesel fire pump, and electric fire pump and flushing the hydrant. Schedules conduct and participate in the supervision of fire drills and disaster plan procedures and requirements.
Prepare daily work plan schedule for preventive maintenance.
Maintenance and inspection various fire safety equipment.
Identify faults and troubleshoot fire system.
Arranging all kind of breathing apparatus for certification and monthly maintenances.
Carry out routine and preventive maintenance of all fire protection and alarm system.
Check and Test for Fire Detection System, like smoke detector, heat detector, duct detector, manual call point, horn, strobe, alarm bell and temperature rise heat detector
