Reporting to the Technical development and Engineering manager, I managed a team of 2 qualified draftsman and 1 trainee engineer.
Main responsibilities:
- Detail engineering & Design includes,
• Define operating parameters
• Define test requirements
• Provide external dimensions
• Provide maintenance and testability provisions
• Decide materials requirements
• Manage reliability requirements
• Decide external surface treatment
• Design life
• Packaging requirements
• Provide external marking
- Prepare and check Project design documents with use of CAD application software.
- Assist development manager with manufacturing and assembly documents for prototypes, parametric models.
- Coordination with sales manager & engineers for application layouts.
- Manage standard library, parts list (BOM) with use of ERP system IFS.
Main achievements:
- Successfully complete major Module containment (MC) project in 10day instead of 20day of design plan and got 10 more orders from same customer for the year 2013.
- Increase productivity by creating record of projects and data.
- Saving engineering hours by implementing CAD methodology.
- Reduced days of Project approval documents release.
- Trained 2 draftsmen to join the team.

- Prepare and check Project design documents with use of CAD application software.

- Make and revise after sales drawings and documentations.
- Coordination with sales manager & engineers for application layouts from United States.
- Manage standard library, parts list (BOM) with use of ERP system SAP.
Main achievements:
- Achieved Skid (base frame) design, related manufacturing documents and cost saving process for turboexpander.
- Design and drafting of master layout of piping and tubing for turbo expander with use of CAD.
- Designed and drafting of Protector for turboexpander machine for packaging unit.
- Increase productivity by creating record of project specific drawings and layout.
- Saving engineering hours by implementing CAD methodology and systems.
- Trained 1 draftsman to join the team.

- Detail engineering & Design of Farm equipment (Tractor).
- Prepare and check Project design documents with use of CAD application software.
- Design review meeting with Assembly shop, Machine shop, Tool room, PDI, Paint shop, maintenance, gauge room & marketing people.
- Design and drafting to resolve field complaints and issues.
- Design and development of component of Tractor accessories.
- Testing of engine components to calculate breakup point, failure time and load with help of dynamometer bed.
- Manage and review DCR (Design change request) and ECN (Engineering change note).

- Successfully completed design of Fan for better cooling for engine.
- Eliminated failure of safety locking screw of center pin in front axle.
- Design and drafting of layout of piping of tractor with loader.
- Introduce double oil seal in front wheel hub for leak proof.
- Trained 2 draftsmen to join the team and 1 office clerk for drawing maintenance.
