• Coordinate with marketing team to ensure L/C amendments in time in order to avoid any discrepancies later in the documents.

Handling Finished Goods and Dispatch Section: (INBOUND, OUTBOUND & STORAGE)
• Plan, assign, supervise & review the work of all staff under direct or indirect control to maintain an efficient flow of activities.
• Oversee all activities of the warehouse such as the inventory of stocks, bagging of finished goods, loading of export containers and local deliveries, unloading of import containers & arrangement of stocks.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and safety procedures in the warehouse
• Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audit of same to verify results
• Coordinate & follow up with agent/forwarder for placement of containers & trailers and ensure that the empty containers placed are in sound condition and trailers loaded with the material are covered by tarpaulin before leaving the premises.
• Coordinate with Quality Control personnel for inspection of material as and when needed.
• Coordinate with production personnel for bagging and recharging of chips.
• Make arrangement for unloading of import containers & ensure that material is stored safely in proper location adhering to storage design principles that would facilitate speedier operations.
• Identify material for next day dispatch and make arrangements for shifting & staging of material in the allotted area and prepare packing list for the same.
• Ensure that cleanliness & orderliness is maintained at work premises
• Prepare consolidated warehouse reports including daily bagging report, daily dispatch report, daily charging report and stock reports.
• Perform tasks in ERP system Orion like creating work orders, generating production slips, production reporting, creating delivery challans & raising purchase requisitions
• Follow-up with purchase personnel to ensure on-time availability of items for the smooth functioning of warehouse activities which includes office stationary, items for workers safety as well as items for reach stacker & forklift maintenance.
