- Handle the Electronics and Electrical Commodities of our High Mixed Low Volume Workcell / Business Unit. Support customer’s business needs using standard supply chain process and possible customized solutions when necessary.
- Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) of our Existing and New projects (NPI). Consolidate and maintain the data in one Mega-file to analyze the trend and history of the prices. Review the quotes quarterly to ensure that the best prices are attain.
- Frequently Sourcing of Suppliers whether Local, Regional or Global aspects and make decisions where to buy based on overall cost and benefit including duty, freight, flexibility, service, performance, quality, and terms & conditions.
- Analyze the demand, historical consumption and existing inventory of our direct materials for proper planning of supply, correct allocation of Supplier to maximize favorable PPV and to avoid excessive on-hand stock of materials.
- Continuous improvement of our processes to eliminate waste and maximize time. Sharing of best practices in handling and solving issues in the team.
- Set-up the Vendor Profile of our New and Existing Suppliers in our system. Prepare and review all the documents and negotiate the terms and conditions of Jabil including payment and shipment terms.
- Utilize the available tools like SAP, Agile (Oracle based), JIS (Jabil Information System) and SAT for material review. With advanced Excel knowledge as well.
- Lead the negotiation either face to face or via conference call to achieve the target savings and build good rapport with suppliers for long-term business relationship.
- Collaborate with different team, at any level of position of Internal or External group to address issues and concerns, and for support as well.
- Review datasheets, specifications and Product Change Notifications (PCN) for alternate part proposal and other technical related concerns.

Review Bill of Materials (BoM) costing, and drive savings implementations for electronics and interconnect components of our Global Supply Chain Center. Lead the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) quarterly negotiation and assure that the lowest contract prices are implemented and properly manage. Identify, review and resolve pricing gaps between Emerson and Suppliers. Establish a pre-negotiation meeting with Electronics/Interconnect suppliers and distributors. Provide reports/documents to support strategies for on-site supplier negotiations. Utilize the automated tools like Hadoop, MobaXterm and PowerBI for database and analytics. Maintain a central repository database of component pricing and ensure that it is accurate and up to date. Create Executive Saving Summary and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Reports for the Emerson Corporate and Business Units’ Monthly and Quarterly Performance of Electronics/Electrical Commodity. Review and compile Electronics/Electrical specifications or parametric data for Component Sourcing activities or Risk Management and for Request for Quotation (RFQ) as well. Annual travel or site visit to EMS, Business Units and Suppliers for review and to build good relationship with them as well.

Frequent travelling for customer visits and meetings for better understanding of their technical needs in order to provide the appropriate parts they are requiring and for better communications as well to build good relationship with them.

Analyzing and providing assistance to technical enquiries of our major clients in wide variety of design applications from Automotive, Consumer, Industrial and Retail. Continuous learning of our new products and its roadmaps for better proposal and as a way also to update our clients with our latest technology. Reviewing the Sales of On Semiconductor in the Philippines. Making weekly reports for monitoring of each project of our customers and update the progresses and issues to our higher management for collaboration of plan of actions. Creating Product Change Notification whenever there are changes in our products for one of our major clients. Frequent travelling for customer visits and meetings for better understanding of their technical needs in order to provide the appropriate parts they are requiring and for better communications as well to build good relationship with them.
