Development & implementation of a new IP/IT Policy for all entities of EDF Group (Europe, Asia, and North America) with in particular problematic of technology transfer & IP valuation.
Focus on Nuclear & green energy (photovoltaic and wind energy) with concession negotiation + smart grid activities.

- Drafting and negotiating technology contracts with significant customers from various industries: Aeronautical) (Airbus, Boeing, Rolls Royce, Embraer), Energy (GE, Areva, Mitsubishi), Transport (Thales, Bombardier, Safran), Automotive (BMW, Ferrari, Bolloré).
- Development of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) mainly via training for researchers (France/Sweden/US), and other functions (procurement, commercial) by implementing new R&D processes.
- IP Management of Trademark and Patents with annual SWOT evaluation & review.
- IT management of all Domain Names and Software with official filing for protection, new IT policy protection in collaboration with IT direction.
- Licensing In & Out of Patent, Know-How, Copyright and Software, for all companies of the ERAMET Group in an International context (in particular manganese, nickel, alloy business).
- Management of IP Direction, a small team (3 persons) with career management, IP budget associated (delivering comprehensive financial planning and guidance and monitoring financial control)
- Worldwide Management of external counsel (Patent & Legal Firms)
- Toolkit and new process development implementation for R&D projects in collaboration with Strategy Direction to minimise risk and ensure compliance across the international businesses, contribution to strategic development plans and managing the internal and external business relationships.
- Connection with public sector and official services (Industry Ministry, Foreign Office...) of different countries based in South America, Africa, Oceania and Asia.

- Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of IP, IT, technology, digital media and commercial agreements. Liaising with procurement team and advising a variety of business groups.
- Collaboration with other lawyers groups and the Global R&T function by advising on all aspects of IP/IT law including a wide range of contracts, intellectual property, licensing and IP/IT laws.
- Management of trademark and patent portfolio, with new in-house IP database.
- Proactively managing and driving forward deals and projects, whilst feeding in as a supporting leader projects, in particular concerning transfer technology.
- Development of Intellectual Property Rights processes by setting up standards across businesses.
- Expert in IP questions regarding Research and Commercial Agreement including negotiation involvement.
- Supporting Chief Legal Officer by providing comprehensive legal support to all trading, compliance and risk mitigation activities.
- Interface with the Satellites & Services Divisions.
- Collaboration with Sales teams to contribute to the pricing and production of bid proposals, both in public sector (ESA, CNES, EMEA Universities) and private sectors (Thales, Safran, Saft).

- Management of contracts for DANONE GROUP on questions of Patent rights ~ 100 MEuros.
- Participation as specialist Patent rights Corporate, in all fields of DANONE: Dairy Products, Water, Biscuits.
- Project Manager on certain R&D projects (products & processes), working in collaboration with the General Direction, Marketing, Purchasing, Sales, Quality Direction...
- 6 months mission in Shangaï for new IP/R&D toolkit & process implementation.
- Implementation and development of new processes for legal & procurement function.
- Management in 2006 of the clinical studies team in association with French and International CRo with monitoring financial control.
- Developing/updating of new governance, policy and strategy and procedures for IP (patent, publication management, know how protection, employee’s remuneration for invention).
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements in the private sector such as Food (Coca Cola, Nestlé, Mars, Kraft, Yakult, McDonald), Biotech/Pharmacy (Pierre Fabre, Beiersdorf, L’Oreal), IT/Software (Dassault Systems, Autodesk), and in the public sector (Institut Pasteur and various universities across EMEA and North America).
