Job Duties and Responsibility
• Directly responsible for processing monthly payroll for 8000+ employees on monthly and yearly basis.
• Responsible for gathering employee information including Routing Code and IBAN number or Bank Account as reference for WPS and payroll purposes.
• Prepares accurate wage information for old and new employees.
• Accountable for taking into consideration the salary increment and its effectivity.
• Gathers accurate employee unique ID from the Personnel Department provided by the Labor Ministry.
• Determines the basic salary and housing allowance as references for calculating gratuity and leave salary provision.
• Determines and updates the records for all resigned/terminated employees and ensures of such not to be included in the payroll.
• Responsible for checking the marital status of each employee as a reference for ticket provisioning.
• Accountable for checking the statement of account of each employee for the possible additional payments (which includes over deduction, retro payments from the salary adjustment, leave salary and tickets, etc.) and deduction (which includes housing loan, cash advance, traffic fine, etc.).
• In charge in collecting all the timesheets/attendance from the Department’s Timekeeper or Site Timekeeper and ensures it’s accuracy on a monthly basis.
• Ensures that all filed overtime is approved and complies with the UAE Labor Law.
• Calculates and prepares the payroll in a monthly basis including the total and individual overtime cost, gratuity provision, ticket and leave salary provisions to be approved by Payroll Manager.
• Responsible for preparing WPS/Sif File and transmit data to bank used in transferring salaries.
• Prepares cash/cheque salary payments for each employee on a monthly basis.

• Calculates the total and individual gratuity, leave salary and ticket provisions on a yearly basis.
• Calculates the gratuity of canceled employees in accordance with the UAE Labor Law.
• Calculates the leave salary of the employees going for vacation in accordance with the UAE Labor Law.
• Prepares the salary increment and bonuses of the employees as per management’s instructions.
