Head of the Finance Department responsible for the efficient overall functioning of the Finance Department including but not limited to Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management reports. Budgeting and forecasting, Product costing, trend analysis, financial Management, Bank Facility arrangement and management. Audit internal and external. Tax compliance and submissions. Drove profitability whilst generating revenues throughout Middle East (ME) region via forecasting, business planning, and oversight of cash flow, funds, liquidity, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR). Directed day-to-day finance and accounting functions by setting policy and procedure; retained ownership of Dubai and Turkey legal entities. Produced financial reports for senior leadership whilst analysing and disseminating management information system (MIS) reports. Liaised internally, teaming with bankers, auditors, and corporate lawyers to remediate matters. Abided by International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to audit annual reports with external auditors.
● Collected AR throughout India, Middle East, and North Africa (IMENA) / Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey (AGT) regions value at USD 40m, governing budgeted current and over due ratio.
● Underpinned consolidation and finalisation of USD 70m in accounts at Eastern Hemisphere level as point person between auditors and actuaries; primary interface with government regulatory bodies.
● Pivotal in modernising processes, including integrating Miscrosoft AX, whilst automating vital finance, inventory, and taxation modules.
● Influenced strategic business decisions in partnership with ME Director; applied knowledge of local laws, market / economic shifts, and business insights.
● Championed change, advocating for policy updates on internal controls, refinement of cost reduction processes, and implementation of systems.
Having 3 direct reports, responsible for preparation of Budget, Quarterly forecasts, variance analysis, monthly MIS reports, Sales Flash, Credit Control and Debt collection within credit period, AP Management, General Ledger Accounting, CAPEX Accounting and Analysis, Inventoy management, Payroll processing, Trade Finance and banking facility management, Annual Financial Audited Reports, Legal and statutory compliance. Business partnering and managing an Annual Turonver Exceeding US$ 100 Million.

● Streamlined migration to new accounting system, Microsoft AX, by contributing to initial survey; originated and introduced systems, policies, and procedures.
