IT Administrator:
IT Administrator is a support person for the organization as a whole. Its main function is to provide technical support and advice to all employees: the recommendation, purchase and maintenance of the computers, computer systems, software and telecommunications equipment as well as maintaining adequate back up and system security.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Company email, server and internet administration.
• Designing and establishing internal and public databases and accompanying file.
• Designing, building and updating website.
• Identifying the need for new software and systems or the re-engineering of existing ones
• Performing software distribution updates, scripting, testing and support.
• Maintaining the quality and relevance of information, including updating the site as required.
• Specification, ordering and installation of equipment and software
• Maintenance and repairs to systems at all levels as well as the network infrastructure and software systems.
• Responsible of software licensing, keeping data’s and network security
• Control over and maintenance of user accounts.
• Maintenance of company email and internet access.
• Implementation, installation, maintenance and support of all equipment and software for local area networks, wide area networks, data communication and information delivery systems; support for desktop productivity tools and implementation of client/server applications.
• Installation of network hardware and software, including setting up of network printers, queues and servers.
• Providing secure access to the network for remote users
• Managing crisis solutions, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems solutions.
• Developing and improve IT Departments services.
