Working as part of a busy team, taking responsibility for several schemes at differing stages and working with limited supervision. The workload includes new buildings, refurbishment projects, house extensions, and environmental projects.
• Responsible for managing all project costs from pitch to completion.
• Undertaking costs analysis for building projects.
• Attending meetings and liaising with stakeholders on commercial matters.
• Monitoring the cost of site resources.
• Inspecting and then valuing completed work.
• Working on a number of build projects at any one time.
• Writing reports on and advising on building and maintenance costs.
• Produce monthly cost & value reports, quarterly reports & cash flow information.
• Preparing tender and contract documents.
• Developing strong relationships with the clients and sub contractors.
• Providing advice and guidance to staff in the preparation and presentation of works proposals, reviews and updates.
With commercial Department Working as the fallowing :
1-Working with Principles of Measurement International (POMI),
Civil Engineering Standard of Method Measurement3
(CESMM3) and Standard of Method Measurement 7 (SMM7)
standards to measurement the quantities of excited works
compare then with the estimated quantities in the BOQ in
Order to work according to the actual quantities when
Preparing the payment Certificate, claim for additional works
amount and time .
2- Separate the Sub contractors inside the project and call
different companies to collect many prices then study,
analysis these offers according to required specification and
Price to select the best one against the work.
3- Make Estimation and Calculate the prices for civil work and
Finishing work depending on self experience and marketing
Value For material, labor, transportation…etc.
4- Preparing the payment certificate and compare with actual
Working progress and prices in the contractor and FIDIC law
5- Define the working programmed analysis against the cost for all items of project.
6- Working with primavera planner programmed familiarly to make planning for project by scheduling tasks against there duration depending on the information collected.
• Preparing Bill of Quantities for Structural & Architectual works for Different kinds of projects like: Complex Villa, High
Rising Building, Mosque…etc By Using CESMM3 and computer
Programs like Excel, Auto- Cad.
• Making the Structural & Architectural Specification of
Different kinds of projects (General & Particular).
• according to international acceptable specification (ASTM -DIN
- BS - ISO) & Owner requirement.
• Estimate prices for all items of project depending on local Prices & doing comparison between different quotations according to Specification required.
• Studies & Checking Structural & Architectural Drawing to reach compactable results between drawing, Specification
And Bill Of Quantities.
• Checking the project programmed submitted by the contract to
find the best representation and scheduling of the project
tasks with the limited durations for each tasks.
Bsc in civil engineering from engineering collage in Babylon university. Certificate of qualification in English language from Baghdad university.
