• Responsible to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems. Conduct repairs, rebuilds and installation of wide variety of various mechanical and other industrial equipment. This includes, but not limited to, compressors, pumps, air compressors, pipelines and water treatment systems.
• Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of different types of HV and LV DG sets of caterpillar, Volvo, Cummins, Wartsila, GM, Iveco, GMT, Mitsubishi, Perkins, MTU etc. Up to 2400KW capacity. Store inventory and reports.
• preventative maintenance best practices, mechanical reliability, pumps (including but not limited to centrifugal, chemical metering, variable frequency drives and well pumps), valves (including but not limited to butterfly, ball, needle, Victaulic style, and pinch style), Gruvlock fittings, piping (including but not limited to PVC, HDPE, stainless steel, carbon steel), compressed air systems.
• Direct and support workers to install, maintain, or repair, equipment, and fixtures. • Allocate and control rota of staff and maintain records
• Order materials and services, maintain records control stock. Follow up corrective actions and implement countermeasures to minimise reoccurrence of faults.
• Maintain effective Health and Safety systems, including completion of risk assessments and method statements and tool box tasks where appropriate.
Operation, Maintenance, troubleshooting and overhauling of DG sets, Dozzers, Backlift lodders, wheel lodders, diesel buses, trucks, petrol light duty vehicles etc. Inventory and report for the work.
Operation and Maintenance and trouble shooting of different types of mechanical equipments like DG setsof capacity up to 1250KV, different types of Electrical Pumps up to 50HP, Aerators, blowers etc, Inventory and supervision of mechanical workshop
